Queensland developer Azure has officially commenced construction on the highly anticipated Oakmont by Azure, following a strong sales surge that has seen 50% of the luxury development already sold.
The rapid sales momentum reflects Oakmont’s rarity and the strong demand for golf frontage residences in today’s market.
"Starting construction is always an exciting milestone, and this one feels particularly special”, said Azure’s director Trent Keirnan.
“There’s a strong sense of anticipation among our buyers, and it’s rewarding to see Oakmont come to life.”

Situated on the eighth hole of the renowned Brookwater Golf Course, the $72 million Oakmont by Azure is set to deliver an exclusive collection of 61 golf-frontage residences. Since the launch, Oakmont has achieved strong demand from buyers who continue to be drawn to the development’s perfect combination of luxury, location, and lifestyle.
“We have received extremely positive feedback from buyers who are excited about the lifestyle offering that Oakmont offers,” said Trent.
“Many are long-time locals who love the idea of staying in the area while enjoying a modern home right on the golf course.”
Oakmont will feature a collection of residences, including spacious four-bedroom homes with a multi-purpose room, 2.5 bathrooms, and a two-car garage; three-bedroom homes with a multi-purpose room, 2.5 bathrooms, and a two-car garage; and 3-bedroom homes with a multi-purpose room, 2.5 bathrooms, and a one-car garage.
Notably, Oakmont has been designed with a classical and timeless approach to enhance the unique character of the Greg-Norman-designed Golf Course, setting it apart from anything else in the market.
“Brookwater is truly a unique location, and with Oakmont, we aimed to complement its character rather than compete with,” said Trent.
“Every design choice was made with that in mind, from the materials to the way the residences interact with the natural landscape.
Residents will have access to a wide range of resort-style amenities, showcasing a Wellness Pavilion, meticulously designed to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
"Oakmont’s appeal lies in its seamless connection to the outdoors,” said Trent.

"We designed the architecture to harmonise with the natural slope of the land, ensuring every home maximises the views - something we know our residents will appreciate every day,” said Trent.
Oakmont is being constructed by Azure’s in-house construction arm, Azure Build, marking another milestone for the team, which has also started construction on a site in Augustine Heights this month. Azure’s ongoing construction activity highlights its commitment to addressing the region’s housing demand, reinforcing its reputation as a leading and reliable developer and builder.
“There is a strong demand for high-quality homes in this region, and we’re proud to be contributing to its growth,” said Mr Keirnan.
“Between Oakmont and our Augustine Heights project, Ember, we’ll be delivering 142 new homes that offer both quality and lifestyle.”
Azure is a privately owned property group renowned for its unique design, build, and manage model. Recognised for their dedication to delivering vibrant communities, Azure continues to be a leading force in Queensland’s thriving property market, backed by a $1.5 billion development pipeline.
With construction now underway on Oakmont, project completion is slated for Q3 2026.
