Spring changes how a home gets used. The doors stay open longer, the terrace becomes another room, and the walk to the beach stops feeling like an outing.

At Highett Common, that change is happening in homes that are already finished. Sunkin Property Group’s completed two- and three-bedroom homes are ready to move into now. This spring, buyers are invited to come and see them in person.

An invitation to the Spring Event

Sunkin is hosting its Spring Event on Saturday 17 October, from 12 pm to 2 pm, at the Highett Common display suite on 37 Graham Road, Highett. Visitors can tour the completed, furnished homes over coffee and food from local Highett eateries, which doubles as a taste of the neighbourhood.

The event is part of a wider spring series of open days. Private inspections can also be arranged.

Where inside meets outside

The homes have been laid out with the warmer months in mind. Living areas open directly onto private terraces, so outdoor space works as part of the home rather than an add-on.

In the three-bedroom residences, part of the Luxury Collection, terraces stretch up to 60 sqm, with herringbone timber floors, Calacatta marble benchtops, and Gaggenau appliances inside. The two-bedroom homes are oriented to capture natural light and greenery, with a master ensuite and Bosch appliances.

Across the precinct, homes achieve an average 8-star NatHERS energy rating. That rating measures how well a home stays comfortable with less heating and cooling, which matters as temperatures climb.

A precinct made for the season

More than 40% of Highett Common is set aside for parks, pathways, and conservation areas. The one-hectare park and playground at Northern Common is open now. A three-hectare landscaped conservation zone, with walking trails, is set to open soon.

Here, everyday errands stay close, with Woolworths next door and Highett Station across the road.

Further out, Sunkin’s Sunrise to Sundown guide sketches a typical spring day: morning coffee at Third Wheel, an afternoon at Half Moon Bay, and dinner at Abbiocco. Sandringham Beach and the Bay Trail round out the bayside routine.

“Spring is when Highett really shows itself,” said Scott Jessop, head of sales and marketing at Sunkin Property Group.

“The terraces get used, the park fills up, and the beach becomes part of the week again.

“We wanted buyers to experience that in person, in homes that are finished and ready for them.”

The ease of a finished home

For people moving on from a larger family home, timing is often the hardest part. A completed home takes the waiting out of the equation. A Live Now home goes a step further: there’s no furniture to source, no deliveries to chase, and no finishes to choose.

That means locals can right-size without leaving the area they know. Settlement is flexible, so buyers can move in straight away or settle later, and homes can be secured with a 5% deposit.

  • a curated collection of travel-inspired photography from Dolce Dominique
  • blinds and sheer curtains to all windows and doors
  • Haier fridge with a built-in water dispenser, Bosch washing machine paired with a heat pump dryer, Smeg toaster and kettle set, Breville Barista Pro coffee machine, and Dyson robotic vacuum

The package is valued at $45,000 for two-bedroom homes and up to $70,000 for three-bedroom homes. Now, a limited number of completed homes remain.

One- to three-bedroom homes are still available at Highett Common, priced from $652,365 for a one-bed residence with one bath and one car parking space, up to the three-bedroom Luxury Collection homes that start from $1,285,200.
