Queensland developer, Bastion Property Group, have maintained it's commitment to the Gold Coast, acquiring a second development site following a successful soft launch of their inaugural Chevron Island project 'Nera'. The sales for Nera have already reached $18 million, showing a strong preference amongst locals for this new development.
The newly acquired site consists of an 826sqm area situated at 27 Vista Street and 2959 Surfers Paradise Boulevard. Both locations are expected to be merged into a multi-storey residential development. In proximity to the popular 'millionaire's row' of Garfield Terrace, the beach, and a light rail tram stop, the sites offer significant potential for luxury residential development.
"We have great confidence in the Gold Coast market and this latest acquisition will enable us to continue to build and grow the Bastion brand as a residential developer of choice for discerning buyers," said Bastion developer, Alex Wood.
The acquisition comes in line with the company's ambitious commitment to launch 10 projects within the next 10 years.
Nera, is set to become a new landmark for the island suburb renowned for its village lifestyle, is designed by the esteemed Plus Architecture. The 28-storey building will house 87 luxury apartments including two-and three-bedroom residences, three-bedroom sky homes, and a stunning full-floor penthouse. The residences, designed with those who are downsizing in mind, offering large, flexible floor plans with high-end rooftop amenities, including an infinity pool, wellness spa, top-tier fitness centre, exclusive dining area, sky lounges with fire pits, and a dedicated yoga platform.
"Following the soft launch in mid-December, we have been inundated with expressions of interest from prospective purchasers, with more than 200 enquiries received, several of them strong leads," said Alex De Vincentiis, managing director of ONE:PM.
Since the soft launch in mid-December, ONE:PM saw more than 200 enquiries from potential customers.
"From a local’s perspective, they are already won over by the location.
"They love Chevron Island and they want to stay, so for the buyers that have already signed up, Nera is the perfect fit for them," he said.
The construction of Nera is anticipated to begin in mid-2022, with completion slated for 2026.
