DARE breaks ground on St David Fitzroy project tipping Melbourne market rebound

DARE Property Group is accelerating its expansion into Victoria, commencing construction on its multi-million-dollar Saint David project in Fitzroy - a collection of 17 high-end residences priced from $1.3 million, with more than a third already sold. 

Designed by Cera Stribley with interiors by acclaimed Melbourne designer Fiona Lynch, the project signals the Sydney-based luxury developer’s growing confidence in Melbourne’s rebounding off-the-plan market and its commitment to delivering design-led residences in the city’s most sought-after inner-urban precincts.

Samssons has been awarded the build contract, and completion is slated for Q3 2027.

“The interiors embrace a balance of restraint and materiality.

The group, which has an established footprint across Sydney, had been keenly watching the Melbourne market for further opportunities after completing its Zero Gripps project in Collingwood - a stone’s throw from the Saint David site.

Blair Property Group has been entrusted as the sales agent for the project, which has already seen strong interest – with six of the 17 residences now sold - underpinned by DARE Property Group’s stellar reputation across New South Wales.

DARE Property Group director Danny Avidan sees strong potential in the Melbourne market, where record-low prices, stamp duty concessions and consistently strong demand have created a key growth opportunity.

“We are actively growing our Victorian pipeline, and believe the fundamentals are strong across key Melbourne postcodes that we have had our eyes on for years.

"With Melbourne prices stabilising at record lows now is the time for buyers to return to the off plan
