Prominent northern Gold Coast property developer, Lewis Land has appointed distinguished builder Greyburn Building Contractors to kick-start the first stage of their ambitious Harbour Shores project. This coincides with the official commencement of sales in the region’s premier 6 Star Green Star Community.
Lewis Land's CEO, Brett Draffen, links Greyburn’s appointment with the company's commitment to swift delivery of the initial three residential collections.
“Bringing new supply to the market has never been so important for the Gold Coast and home buyers need to have confidence that the projects they’re investing in will be delivered,” said Draffen.
“Greyburn Building Contractors has a 35-year history specialising in home and boutique apartment construction and this partnership demonstrates our confidence in their capacity, local teams, and trusted supplier networks.
"This is a tremendous outcome for the project, and future residents of Harbour Shores.”
The 16-hectare Harbour Shores masterplan, opposite Harbour Town, is among the last untouched large-scale, waterfront development sites in the Gold Coast. Draffen revealed that construction of its 'The Residences', a collection of luxury waterfront homes, will commence in July.
Following this, the two apartment collections, 'The Waterline' and 'Palm House', and an array of facilities, such as a community parkland, waterfront boardwalk, and a pool, will be delivered in this primary stage. Draffen estimates welcoming the first residents to their homes in 2026.
Aaron Hook, Director of Greyburn Building Contractors, identifies the firm’s expertise in boutique residential projects as a significant advantage.
“There’s fantastic synergy between Lewis Land’s vision for Harbour Shores and our specialist approach to the delivery of boutique residential projects," Hook said.
"As a local Gold Coast business, we are incredibly proud to be able to deliver the first stage of this future-focused development.”
Harbour Shores, poised to become a 'village of villages' over the next decade, is a design brainchild of BDA architects. It boasts a blend of boutique apartments, villas, communal open spaces, parklands, a waterfront boardwalk, private marina berths, and a variety of resort-style resident amenities. Notably, Harbour Shores has gained the highest environmental recognition - a 6 Star Green Star Communities V1.1 Rating from the Green Building Council of Australia.
Lewis Land, known for pioneering major developments, continues to redefine luxury, lifestyle, and destination retail on the Gold Coast with this project.
