Ignite Projects has appointed OBX as builder for its boutique beachside development, Retreat Palm Beach.

This cements a major milestone for the wellness-inspired project following a standout early sales run that has seen more than half of all residences already sold. 

The partnership brings together two respected Gold Coast firms whose shared commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and local expertise will underpin the delivery of one of Palm Beach’s most anticipated new residential offerings.

Director James O’Brien has more than 20 years' experience in tier one and tier two construction, including his former role as construction manager at Hutchinsons Builders, where he delivered landmark projects such as The Mondrian, as well as Ignite’s own award-winning Cabana Palm Beach (one of the Gold Coast’s fastest-selling residential projects of 2021) and The Lanes.
