Award-winning Australian property developer Mirvac is celebrating the public launch of their brand new luxury apartment development, The Albertine, with a Grand Opening event at its Experience Gallery this Sunday, the 24th of September, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Ground Floor, 484 Saint Kilda Road, Melbourne.

The $200 million prestige project boasts a desirable address in the St Kilda Road Precinct, right on the doorstep of Albert Park, and showcases stunning interiors by Mirvac’s in-house award-winning design team with styling by celebrated interior designer Brahman Perera.

The designer behind the interiors of some of Australia’s favourite restaurants, including Entrecote in Prahran and Ursula’s in Paddington, as well as some of the most luxurious private residences in Melbourne, Brahman (also known as Brem) has worked alongside Mirvac Design to curate The Albertine’s Experience Gallery – this Sunday’s opening event, inviting you to get an exclusive first look at this refined apartment collection.

Brem has also worked with the Mirvac team to add his creative flair to The Albertine’s resident-only spaces, including the lobby, concierge area, and the Elysian Room – an elevated private dining area exclusive to residents on level 10.

Speaking about his inspiration for the styling of these spaces, Brem says, “For The Albertine, I wanted to create a layered landscape of new and treasured pieces that allow each space to feel warm and honest, encapsulating a contemporary lived-in feeling, with inflections of affability with locally made and designed furniture, in line with the vision to create a layered life of luxury.

“Throughout The Albertine Experience Gallery, there are amazing pitted and charred timber pieces and tables by Bieemele, a furniture maker based in Red Hill, as well as a large custom timber and sand-cast iron dining table from another local designer, Daniel Barbera.

“Artwork was selected to embody and represent local artists: paintings by Eleanor Louise Butt, Stephanie Jook, and Elefteria Vlavianos.

“Another favourite of mine is the solid oak sculptural totem by Hugh McCarthy.”
