The idea came about when the parents of a Sky Garden purchaser house-sat his two-bedroom plus study room apartment while he was away. Having believed that living in an apartment meant a compromised lifestyle, they were surprised to find that apartment living is safe and convenient.

They enjoyed having amenities not available in houses, such as Sky Garden’s indoor pool, double-storey gymnasium, 24/7 concierge, and garden, all within easy reach. As a result, they purchased a three-bedroom apartment and sold their house in Glen Waverley.

Mr Tay also found Sky Garden’s amenities to be the most surprising. “I was surprised by how well maintained the amenities were, particularly the pool and sauna,” he remarked.

His stay at Sky Garden gave him and his family valuable insight that only firsthand experience can provide.

He explained, “The initiative by Golden Age allowed us to experience life through the renter’s perspective by living in the residence for a night, which is very different to just looking at a floor plan or taking a tour, as you do not get as good a sense of what you are buying.”
