In a significant win for Western Sydney renters, Australian real estate developer, Coronation Property Group, and its new subsidiary company, Nation, have officially opened their new Build-to-Rent (BTR) accommodation, 'Charlie Parker'.

Located in Parramatta City, the property consists of 123 fully furnished premium rental apartments. Keeping in tune with modern luxury standards, the setup includes a landscaped open-air pool, wellness centre, gym, private dining area, cinema, and co-work office spaces, offering a comprehensive community living experience. Notably, Charlie Parker is pet-friendly, reflecting the developer's commitment to catering to contemporary lifestyle needs.

Joe Nahas, Coronation's Owner and Managing Director, noted their pride in delivering high-quality, exclusively rental apartments all across Sydney, including the recent 'Mason & Main' development in Merrylands - the state's largest BTR precinct to date.

"At Charlie Parker, we’re providing a fantastic community living experience for all of our residents... With the high demand for rental properties making it harder and harder to find an apartment, we’ll be offering our tenants a well-managed, more secure tenure with lease terms of up to three years,” said Nahas.

Nahas went on to mention how their projects were a response to the rental market demand, especially among healthcare workers in the area.

“Coronation is excited to be delivering a steady stream of quality rentals onto the market in Western Sydney, particularly for those local essential health workers who are being forced to travel long distances every day because they can’t find a rental property close to Westmead Hospital,” he stressed.

State MP for Parramatta, Donna Davis, and Parramatta Lord Mayor, Councillor Pierre Esber, welcomed the development. Davis hailed the project for providing access to quality living near job hubs and offering long-term rental opportunities for vital workers, young people, and families alike. Esber underlined this sentiment, stating the development was an answer to housing needs in the city without troubling good design and lifestyle aspects.

The Charlie Parker project will be run by Nation, an innovative BTR network by Coronation, set to bring about 1,500 apartments across Sydney by 2025.

“We’re committed to building high-quality housing in well-serviced, well-connected urban areas, helping the Minns Government address the chronic shortages in supply for buyers and renters alike," explained Nahas.

Coronation Property Group is an Australian trademark known for its development prowess spanning retail, commercial, build-to-rent, and hotels. The company prides itself on its place-making ethos, their end-to-end service through the property lifecycle, and their collaborations with leading architects and designers.
