Waterfront masterpiece sets new record in Brisbane’s east

Multi-award-winning prestige property builder/developer, Capital Luxury Residences (CLR) has sold its second riverfront luxury home, ‘CLARA’ for $6.4million to a Melbourne family relocating to the Sunshine State, breaking their own record in the blue-chip suburb of Bulimba in Brisbane’s east.

The dynamic husband and wife, CEO and Design Director team recently sold the neighbouring property, ‘CAMBER’ for $6.35m making a combined circa $13 million in sales, with both properties selling within weeks of each other.

Positioned on one of Brisbane’s most exclusive riverside streets at 37 McConnell Street, boasting a prized absolute riverfront location, the architecturally-striking home was also sold off market, also several months before completion by Sarah Hackett of PLACE Realty.

Capital Luxury Residences CEO Phil Pezzi said the buyers loved the overall design, space planning, natural light, its north facing aspect, the strong use of marble throughout which is CLR’s signature and four car garage.

“Both properties were sold about 5 weeks prior to completion,” he said.

Designed by CLR’s design director, Alissa Birch in collaboration with Melbourne-based practice, Mason Bright Architects, the palatial two storey home features a spectacular ‘picture frame’ design from the rear of the property fronting the river creating a ‘patio amphitheatre’ with a soaring seven-metre-high ceiling and encompassing a stunning, spacious indoor/outdoor entertaining space with commercial outdoor kitchen, swimming pool, lawn and its own private pontoon.

Phil says Capital Luxury Residences’ founding philosophy is to reimagine the possibilities of residential development.

“We only buy prime waterfront or view sites – sites which capture extraordinary views, aspects and locations; then we design the house, together with our architect partners, to maximise the views, aspect and location.

“Our expert in-house construction team, headed up by our meticulous Construction Director Paul Carson plan the demolition and build program and then custom build the home to spec,” he said.
