AT A GLANCE:

  • Developer: DVB Projects
  • Architect: BDA Architecture
  • Address: 137 Old Burleigh Road, Broadbeach, QLD
  • No. of Residences: 49
  • Estimated Completion Date: Late 2029

Broadbeach has always sat a little apart from the rest of the Gold Coast - relaxed in pace, refined in character, and more considered than the southern beaches, with a dining and lifestyle scene that rewards people who actually live here rather than those just passing through. It’s a suburb that people move to and stay in.

Breeze, rising 34 levels above Old Burleigh Road, was designed for exactly those people.

“We see the Gold Coast as one of the most compelling lifestyle markets in Australia, particularly at the premium end where demand continues to deepen,” said Dean Brown, managing director of DVB Projects.

49 homes. Three distinct collections.

Space and privacy are central to Breeze’s design. 49 residences across 34 levels means an average of fewer than two homes per floor - a density that’s closer to a private residence than a typical apartment tower.

The collection comprises 40 half-floor residences, eight full-floor sky homes, and a single dual-level penthouse, each oriented toward panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the Broadbeach coastline, and the hinterland beyond.

Sales agent Todd Matheson of Pezet Matheson, which is marketing Breeze Broadbeach, said the development addresses a clear gap in the market for genuine luxury products.

“The quality of a luxury residence comes down to the finer details; the materials, the finishes, and how thoughtfully everything comes together. That’s where Breeze really distinguishes itself, with an exceptional level of care going into the homes being created,” Todd said.

Architecture that earns its place

BDA Architecture, one of the Gold Coast’s most respected studios, has approached Breeze as a building that responds to its setting rather than imposing on it. A precast concrete facade with an intricate breeze block pattern across the podium levels is softened by planting and greenery, drawing on the Gold Coast’s own architectural character rather than following trends. The result is a building that feels like it belongs on Old Burleigh Road, directly opposite Kurrawa Park.

Inside, the material palette is warm and deliberate. Kitchen islands and splashbacks feature book-matched natural stone, where each slab is cut and mirrored so the veining runs symmetrically across the surface - a hallmark of considered, high-end specification.

Interiors also feature integrated joinery in warm timber tones, wide-format timber flooring, freestanding baths, and stone-finished bathrooms with feature lighting. Select residences also include an integrated wine fridge. Walk-in robes and dedicated home office spaces are included in the larger homes - details that speak to how people actually want to live, rather than how apartments are typically configured.

A wellness offering for daily use

The shared amenity at Breeze is scaled to the building rather than designed to impress on a brochure. A 20-metre elevated lap pool anchors the wellness offering, alongside a state-of-the-art gymnasium, hot and cold plunge pools, a traditional sauna, and landscaped lounge and dining areas.

For 49 residences, it’s a genuinely generous suite of spaces - the kind you’d actually use every morning rather than visit twice a year.

The location

Breeze sits directly opposite Kurrawa Park, with the beach moments away and Broadbeach’s dining and café precinct, boutique shopping, Pacific Fair, The Star Gold Coast, and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre all within easy walking distance. Surfers Paradise is close to the north; Burleigh Heads to the south. It’s one of the few positions on the Gold Coast where everything the city offers is genuinely accessible on foot.

Three- and four-bedroom configurations are available, with half-floor residences from $4,695,000 and full-floor sky homes from $8,995,000. The dual-level penthouse is POA.

Completion is expected in late 2029.
