Central Element (CE) has unveiled plans for an innovative senior living lifestyle development, following the acquisition of 130 Pacific Highway, Greenwich. Tom Appleby of Colliers was engaged by CE to assist with unlocking the 22-owner strata scheme.
The site will integrate with CE’s existing 126 Pacific Highway property, creating a rare dual site offering designed exclusively for discerning downsizers seeking luxury, community and convenience.
The DA outlines the construction of two highly curated mixed-use buildings to the value of $250 million. The development will contain 59 premium residences, ground floor retail, extensive communal spaces and bespoke amenities that prioritise comfort and wellbeing of its residents. The site’s elevated position means most apartments will boast impressive views of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and CBD skyline.
The thoughtfully designed residences, crafted by renowned architects Marchese Partners, will offer a sophisticated retreat with a focus on connectivity, sustainability and wellness. Future residents will enjoy 1,000 square metres of landscaped communal areas reflecting the leafy North Shore location and creating space for connection and relaxation. Cross-ventilated apartments will ensure year-round comfort for residents, with wellness and retail offerings integrated within the development for added convenience.
Luxury begins from the arrival, with the lobby designed to look and feel like a five-star hotel with dramatic architectural feature colonnades. The resident experience is further elevated with a number of premium shared amenities, including both indoor and rooftop pools, a state-of-the-art gym, versatile meeting spaces, group dining areas, library and more – all thoughtfully curated to offer unparalleled comfort and convenience.
The site offers connectivity to St. Leonards and Sydney’s Lower North Shore while preserving the tranquil charm of Greenwich. The development uniquely balances urban convenience with suburban serenity, while catering to the needs of its active senior residents.
Architects, Marchese Partners, bring over 30 years expertise and a strong track record of creating environments that enhance quality of life while addressing the evolving needs of retirees. CE boasts a multi-billion dollar portfolio of developments across Sydney, with five projects set to complete next year. Nathan Chivas, Managing Director of Central Element, shared his excitement for the company’s latest project;
"With a proven track record for delivering premium residential and seniors living offerings, Greenwich is a testament to CE’s ability to innovate within this space. By combining these two sites, we hope to create a thriving community where downsizers can embrace a luxurious yet low-maintenance lifestyle, with every detail designed to enrich their everyday living experience.
We are delighted to collaborate with Marchese Partners on this project. Their expertise and innovative approach align seamlessly with our dedication to creating luxury, lifestyle-focused developments tailored to modern retirees. Greenwich will uniquely blend state-of-the-art architecture with human-centric design to prioritise social connection, independence and the long-term wellbeing of its residents.”
CE has submitted the DA for Greenwich, with the project set to launch to market late 2025.
