Chevron Island is set to welcome a stunning new $140 million residential development, unveiled by a private consortium. Named Nera, this 28-storey development based in the heart of Chevron Island at 8-10 Parneno Street will bring 87 luxury apartments to the market.

The Bastion development group, comprising national and expat developers, is responsible for undertaking this project. This venture will be the first in a series of projects by Bastion on the Gold Coast, having also acquired a site in Surfers Paradise for a future apartment development.

Nera is a new residential icon in the coveted Chevron Island.

Alex Wood, one of the developers associated with Bastion, emphasised the vision behind Nera. “Nera isn't just another residential project, it’s a statement and a testament to the evolving tastes and preferences of those seeking a premium living space and will represent a community that cherishes the finer aspects of life,” he said.

“The location of Nera is strategic, offering residents the unique blend of Chevron Island’s intimate village atmosphere and close proximity to the Gold Coast’s bustling hotspots like HOTA, Surfers Paradise, and dining precincts.”

The plans for this new Chevron Island development have been reworked by Bastion to cater to the high demand for premium residences in one of the Gold Coast’s most sought-after suburbs.

Alex De Vincentiis, Managing Director of ONE:PM, the assigned sales agent for the project, chimed in stating, “Bastion has revisited and re-envisioned the project, tailoring it to meet the current market demands and buyer needs, enhancing the quality and finishes to create something truly exceptional.”

Luxury rooftop amenities overlook ocean and city views at Nera in Chevron Island.

Residents of Nera can look forward to a host of rooftop amenities, such as an infinity pool, wellness spa, high-end fitness centre, exclusive dining area, fire pits within sky lounges, and a dedicated yoga platform.

Leading South East Queensland architecture firm Plus Architecture is in charge of designing the project, focusing on spacious floorplans that offer functional and luxury living.

“We’ve worked closely with Plus Architecture to curate spaces that seamlessly blend opulence with functionality, ensuring that every resident feels a sense of exclusivity and luxury in their daily lives,” Mr Wood remarked.

Nera will comprise 87 residences across 28 storeys.

Beyond Nera’s luxurious offerings, Bastion plans to weave in unique elements such as art and ecology offerings. Led by a team of Australian and international experts in residential development, the group's commitment to delivering high-quality and luxurious residential projects is evident.

Currently going through a minor revision with council, the DA-approved project is expected to hit the market in the new year.
