Renowned Queensland developer S&S Projects celebrates the completion of its luxury residential project, the $52.5 million Awaken Residences – the second in the developer’s trilogy of luxury residential projects on the southern Gold Coast.
Atop one of the Gold Coast’s highest and most spectacular beachfront locations, Awaken Residences has proven to be a huge sales success for the developer, with the $9.4 million penthouse setting a record for the southern Gold Coast.
Comprising eight full-floor residences and a double-storey penthouse, Awaken Residences sold out even before construction began, drawing buyers from both local and international markets to a location that offers endless views across three iconic beaches.

Awaken Residences has partnered with one of Queensland’s most illustrious hospitality dynasties, the Gambaro family, marking Rainbow Bay’s first Mediterranean-inspired dining scene. The upcoming venues will showcase the finest culinary selections, including prime steaks from the family’s Black Hide Steakhouse on Caxton Street, complemented by an array of fresh seasonal seafood and Italian-inspired delights from Persone Restaurant.
Pipi’s will be located across the second level of the 12-storey Awaken building, taking in spectacular ocean views across the Point Danger parklands, making it a must for any food lover’s odyssey on the Gold Coast. The second venue, Awaken Café, is a casual, health-conscious café that will offer an all-day menu sure to attract a strong local following.
Renowned Brisbane restaurateur John Gambaro announced the final touches being put to the two new dining venues.
