Palm Beach local Paul Fisher, famous for his high-energy performances and chart-topping hits – is shifting his creative focus from festival stages to high-end design - infusing his passion for coastal living into a $50 million boutique apartment development on the Gold Coast.

Pescado, by Paul and Chloe Fisher’s YLB Property Developments, will see the creation of seven uber-luxury apartments at Palm Beach in a carefully designed collaboration between the Fishers and esteemed design firm BDA Architects.

In a rare move for a project of this calibre, local Gold Coast builder HNKN has already been appointed to deliver the development – a strong signal of the team’s readiness and commitment to seeing Pescado realised without delay.

Together, Paul and Chloe have combined their global experiences and deep connection to the Gold Coast to create a home that captures the essence of the coastal lifestyle – a place where they can truly unwind and feel connected to their surroundings.

Located at 228-230 Jefferson Lane, Palm Beach, Pescado will be designed as a tranquil retreat, offering a seamless blend of architectural sophistication and relaxed beachside living. Designed in collaboration with leading BDA Architects, Pescado will set a new standard for premium, low-density living, offering just six full-floor residences and an expansive two-storey penthouse within its eight- level design.

Paul, who has travelled extensively, describes Palm Beach as his personal retreat and the inspiration behind Pescado.

“After weeks on the road, all I can think about is getting home,” said Paul.

“That feeling of calm, of being fully present, is what we want to bring to Pescado.”

Each meticulously crafted three-bedroom, three-bathroom home will feature expansive open-plan layouts, high-end finishes, and seamless indoor-outdoor living, with prices starting from $5.25 million. Designed with an emphasis on wellness, functionality and meaningful social spaces, the residence features a resort-style pool, gym, cold plunge, BBQ, and dining areas, encouraging a balanced lifestyle.

“Palm Beach is part of my DNA, and that’s reflected in Pescado’s design, which captures the natural rhythm and energy of the coastline – it’s wavy and groovy, just like my music,” said Paul.

“We wanted to create a space where people can entertain, bring their friends over, and truly enjoy the coastal lifestyle.

“Pescado is not just another luxury development—it’s a deeply personal project for us. We’re not just building this place and moving on; this is our forever home. Every detail has been considered to ensure that Pescado is a special place, not just for us but for everyone who becomes part of this journey.”

The name ‘Pescado’ – Spanish for ‘fish’ – is a nod to Fisher’s time in Ibiza, where the nickname stuck. Chloe Fisher, Co-founder of YLB Developments, has led the interior design direction, ensuring Pescado balances elegance with everyday comfort.

“Pescado’s interiors are designed to blend elegance with comfort to ensure it feels like a home, not just a house,” said Chloe.

“We’ve drawn influence from some of our favourite hotels around the world, with a strong focus on sustainability and liveability – and for me, it’s all about creating a true sense of home.

“We took inspiration from our homes in LA and Ibiza, using organic textures and neutral tones, with subtle pops of sage green and blush pink to give Pescado its own personality without overpowering the coastal feel.

“Functionality has remained at the forefront of the design. We’ve stayed in some of the most beautiful homes around the world, and yet, often we find that the high-end design doesn’t always translate to practicality.

“We wanted to ensure that every aspect of Pescado was purposeful and considered.”

The development team have worked alongside leading architects and designers to bring the project to life, ensuring the highest standard of craftsmanship and architectural integrity. BDA Architects has delivered a design that integrates contemporary coastal architecture with timeless interior appeal.

Darren Greenaway, Director of BDA Architects, said the wave-like façade was deliberately designed to reflect the transition from chaos to calm, with the architecture symbolising a journey from the noise of daily life into a private sanctuary.

“Pescado reinterprets the Gold Coast’s coastal vernacular with modern influences, using crafted brickwork, travertine, and expansive, light-filled spaces to ensure lasting elegance,” said Darren.

“Our goal was to incorporate a fluid, organic curvature into the façade so that when people look at Pescado, they experience the same sense of serenity they would watching the ocean.”

With approvals secured, sales are now underway, exclusively represented by Pezet Matheson.

“We anticipate strong demand for boutique beachside developments of this calibre,” said Jayde Pezet, managing director of Pezet Matheson.

“Pescado’s craftsmanship, prime location, and exclusivity will set it apart in the Palm Beach market.

“As interest in high-end, low-density residences continues to grow, Pescado is expected to become a defining addition to Palm Beach’s landscape—offering both prestige and enduring value.”
