With hundreds of the nation’s top companies in the area, employing more than 25,000 people, Baulkham Hill and neighbouring Bella Vista are established and thriving communities in their own right.

And with such a large amount of people commuting to the area each day for work, it’s only natural many of them would seek a luxurious place to live in the same bustling pocket of Sydney.

Enter new development, ‘Esplanade,’ located on the tranquil Norwest Lake and set to cement itself as the lifestyle epicentre of the area.

With the selection of one, two, three apartments, as well as premium three and four bedroom ‘Sky Residences’, the contemporary development is one of a kind.

“Esplanade will be the first ever ‘vertical village’ at Norwest,” says Steve Grant, Capital Corporation’s Managing Director.

“We have lodged plans for the integrated community comprised of a diverse mix of 267 apartments across one 19 and one 20-storey building, with a host of resident-only facilities, three levels of boutique workspaces, waterfront dining and retail areas set on a significantly upgraded public boardwalk.”

There’s also exclusive access to an outdoor cinema, a transparent-sided pool, outdoor gym, cabanas, barbeque areas and landscaped lawns and gardens.

It will be hard to find a reason to leave.

But, however, if work or leisure calls elsewhere, the Sydney Metro Norwest station - currently under construction - will be able to transport you to the CBD in no time.

Mr Grant says the all-in-one nature of the development is appealing for both investors and own-occupiers, particularly people looking to downsize.

“We’ve been building at Norwest for over 25 years, and we’ve seen that every time there’s a major infrastructure investment there is a corresponding lift in property values. That occurred with the opening of the M2, opening of Norwest Marketown, the opening of the M7 and it’s our opinion this will occur again with opening of the Norwest rail station, due to open about the time Esplanade is completed. ”

So far, Esplanade has mostly attracted local buyers.

“Esplanade responds to the needs of many families who moved to The Hills area 20 or 30 years ago who are now looking for the convenience of a development that brings the life-work-recreation combination together to make daily life more enjoyable,” Mr Grant says.

Unlike other developments, there will be no one-size-fits all approach.

Buyers have a free consultation with an interior designer to personalise their apartment, with the choice of stone benchtops, stainless steel appliances and frameless shower screens.

“There’s no doubt Bella Vista, which sits within Norwest, has always been seen as a high-end neighbourhood. In fact, this premium residential area out-performed anyone’s expectations,” says Mr Grant.

“Now, Esplanade offers the first step in the area’s transformation to high-rise and mixed-use living to make daily life more enjoyable and convenient.”
