Beaconsfield has been quietly attracting attention for a while now, and Nara, Stockland’s all-electric townhouse community at 1 Naylor Street, is a big part of the reason why.
With the first residents moving in this month, brand-new display homes open on site, and Stage 3 now launched to market, the development has moved well beyond its early promise and into something buyers can see, visit, and secure for themselves.

A community coming to life
Stage 3 introduces new product types to the Nara offering, with homes priced from $1,295,000. Like all homes at Nara, they are three-bedroom, two-storey, and all-electric townhouses equipped with solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging capability. Select lots also offer Green Title ownership, meaning no shared walls and no strata fees.
Across the precinct, 26% has been dedicated to green open spaces, including pocket parks and a central playground, ensuring a family-friendly environment.

Architecturally designed by Plus Studio
Nara was designed in collaboration with award-winning architecture firm Plus Studio, whose brief was to draw on Beaconsfield’s welcoming, eclectic character while bringing a distinctly contemporary sensibility to the streetscape. The result is a collection of homes that sit comfortably in their surroundings, with architecture that feels truly considered.
“Beaconsfield’s welcoming, eclectic, and inclusive nature inspired the design,” said Will Schofield, director of Plus Studio.
“Homes linked by parks and recreation areas foster connection and belonging.
“Aboriginal Elders inspired the landscape design, embedding cultural stories.
“The design captures Beaconsfield’s essence, creating a vibrant, thriving community.”
Inside, each home features open-plan living with generous 2.7-metre ceilings, stone benchtops, floor-to-ceiling bathroom tiling, and premium Westinghouse appliances throughout, ensuring style as well as functionality.

Who’s buying, and why
Enquiries at Nara have remained strong and consistent since launch, with particular interest from buyers already familiar with the Fremantle area and those living within a 5km catchment.
The draw is consistent across buyer types: low-maintenance, freehold living close to the coast, with genuine sustainability credentials. All-electric homes with solar and battery storage, supported by a Plico power purchase model, continue to be a leading driver of enquiry, offering a more accessible pathway to energy independence – a feature set that’s increasingly rare in this price bracket.

A neighbourhood on the rise
Beaconsfield’s appeal extends well beyond the development boundary. Ripple Brewing has recently opened as a neighbourhood brewery and taproom just a 12-minute walk from Nara, while the nearby Lefroy redevelopment on the former Beaconsfield TAFE site will bring a future neighbourhood centre with retail, cafés, and services.
Six minutes by car, the redevelopment of Little Creatures Brewery is further cementing Fremantle’s reputation as one of Perth’s most compelling coastal destinations.
Nara itself sits 900 metres from South Beach and minutes from central Fremantle – an established inner-south location that buyers are clearly paying close attention to.

See it in person
The Nara display is open on site at 25 Naylor Street, Beaconsfield. Hours are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Wednesday from 1 pm to 5 pm. Private appointments are available on request.
Nara’s three-bedroom, two-storey townhouses remain available across all stages, with prices from $1.275 million for homes featuring two bathrooms, a single car space, and a private alfresco courtyard.
