Sydney-based developer Crown Group has given a sneak peak into what we can expect from its tropical resort-style development in Waterloo, releasing three images of the $395 million development.

As the name of the project suggests, “Waterfall by Crown Group” will feature a 22 metre, cascading waterfall, as well as a rainforest-inspired bamboo-covered walkway, a private rooftop lounge and balconies to soak in Sydney’s spectacular views.

Featuring four buildings with 331 apartments, it will also come with vertical gardens, a rooftop infinity pool, fully-equipped gym, a function and dining room and retail outlets.

Crown Group’s CEO, Iwan Sunito, says the vision for Waterfall was to think outside the square when it comes to incorporating green space within apartment developments.

“With Waterfall by Crown Group we set out to revolutionize the use of green space in residential developments; breaking away from tradition cater for people looking for an escape from the hustle and bustle,” Mr Sunito says.

“It is everyone’s desire to find a place of escape; a place of tranquility.

“Waterfall by Crown Group provides a sense of place, where people can feel both a connection with nature and the urban environment at once."

With renowned architects SJB at the helm, the project aims to bring a slice of nature to the city with natural materials, a lagoon, trees, plenty of retreat areas and the rooftop garden.

Crown Group will also build a new public park next to the development.

The apartments will be released for sale later this year.
