Multi-award-winning Queensland design, development, and construction company Graya has won development approval for its Gold Coast debut, Kloud – a luxury 20-apartment development on Palm Beach’s most coveted address.
Located on 152 Jefferson Lane, Kloud marks the developer’s successful move into the Gold Coast market – its second planned project for the beachside suburb but the first to win approval.
The nine-storey tower will comprise two, three, and four-bedroom apartments and stunning resident-only amenities, including a pool, wet deck, day beds, and a poolside social space amid verdant landscaping.
The approval for Kloud follows a successful few months for Graya, which included several Master Builders awards and winning The Urban Developer’s ‘Small-Scale Residential Development of the Year’ for its riverside project Maison New Farm.
Graya director Andrew Gray said expanding to the Gold Coast was a natural progression for the Brisbane-based company he and his brother Rob founded over a decade ago.
“We have a strong connection with the Gold Coast as we spent a lot of time here growing up,” said Mr Gray.
“We were always drawn to the beaches and lifestyle, and on a business front, the opportunity for growth and further development is unrivalled as more and more interstate buyers look to the lifestyle the Gold Coast offers.
“Palm Beach, in our opinion, has the most potential – it’s one of the most beautiful stretches of beach and has a thriving restaurant and bar scene while still maintaining that local community feel.
“Over the last few years, it’s transformed into the lifestyle capital of the Gold Coast, so when this opportunity presented itself, it made sense for Graya to expand.”
The team will bring their extensive experience and successful design approach to Kloud. Mr Gray attributes Graya’s success to its hands-on involvement and attention to detail across all facets of the business, from site selection, architecture, and interior design to project management and construction.
“Design excellence is at the forefront of all our projects, but with Kloud specifically, we wanted a design that fitted in with the natural surrounds,” Mr Gray explained.
“The name and design of Kloud is reflective of our vision to deliver sky homes that float above the horizon.”
Jamie-Lee Edwards, sales agent and director of JLE Projects, said Kloud’s apartments represent an unrivalled lifestyle opportunity where immeasurable ocean views, generous living spaces, and relaxing outdoor areas are executed with utmost liveability, privacy, and quality.
“Apartments are designed to appeal to those seeking the ultimate in elevated, beachside living in a walkable setting,” Ms Edwards said.
Kloud is currently in its pre-release phase. The team encourages interested purchasers to register their interest to receive information about the official launch at the end of October 2023.
Construction is imminent as onsite works are scheduled to commence on the prime 827 sqm site in November.
