Lend Lease's Darling Sq Sold In Hours

Lend Lease, the developer behind Melbourne's own Toorak Park, this week achieved an accolade that not many other developers have achieved. 

The second stage of Darling Square has sold out in less than five hours at today’s launch event in Sydney, with apartments ranging from $800,000 to over $10 million for a top floor penthouse.

Hundreds of potential buyers streamed through the doors at 8am to snap up a rare opportunity to live at Sydney’s hottest new address, right at the heart of Darling Harbour’s $3.4 billion revitalisation. Darling Square will be a vibrant village with around 4,200 residents, 2,500 workers plus tourists and visitors.

Set just a 10minute walk from Sydney’s central business district, Darling Square will be one of Sydney’s most walkable and connected new city neighbourhoods. It sits within a vibrant district that’s only a few minutes’ walk from the world’s most beautiful harbour, Sydney’s business centre, Chinatown, major transport hubs, entertainment and retail precincts, world-class dining, laneway bars and major education and cultural institutions.

There is a mix of boutique low-rise offerings, medium-rise and high-rise contemporary apartments with all the luxury amenities you could want. Whether it’s a one-, two- or three-bedroom apartment with city/harbour views, a two-level terrace-style apartment with private courtyard or a Skyhome with panoramic, sun-drenched city and harbour views, Darling Square may just have the perfect city home for you.

Darling Square will ultimately offer circa 1,500 apartments, with this second release of 581 apartments designed by acclaimed architects Tzannes Associates, with interiors by Bates Smart. The first release of 538 apartments sold out last year.

Construction of the first stage has commenced with the first Darling Square residents taking occupancy in 2017. It is anticipated that the third and final stage of apartments will be released within 18 months.
