DOMA, a highly reputed local developer, is bringing its wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience of Canberra to a new precinct, The Parks, in Red Hill.

The company has been producing diverse property precincts for decades with a passion for excellence and a proclivity for creating projects which are made to enhance the living experience.

“We know what people want in an apartment,” says David Carey, Senior Development Manager of DOMA. “Beyond a high level of fixtures and finishes, and convenience of location, people ultimately want a sense of space.”

Many people don’t even consider apartments for their next home because they think they won’t be able to have enough room. This couldn’t be further from the truth at The Parks, Red Hill.

“The interiors have been inspired by a European aesthetic, featuring premium finishes, and select apartments come with their own lock-up garages,” says David.

On average, the apartments sit at around 110-square-metres, with the largest ranging up to 200-square-metres.

“Meanwhile, most apartments come with large balconies, typically 20-square-metres in size, with ground floor and top floor residences benefitting from larger terraces ranging up to 80-square-metres,” David explains.

“The balconies are deeply recessed, a quality which creates privacy and protects against the weather, increasing usability throughout the year.”

Add to this the fact that these outdoor areas are private and enclosed so home buyers or tenants can use the spaces all year round, and The Parks, Red Hill becomes a lucrative investment.

The development encompasses a range of homes, from apartments in lower-rise buildings to terrace homes and land lots. And with plenty of green landscaping included in the masterplan, it won’t be just another high-rise apartment tower.

First formed in 1974, DOMA has established itself as a major player in ACT’s property industry. Its project, Dockside on Eastlake Parade in the dining hot spot of Kingston Foreshore, set a new benchmark in Canberra due to the vibrant mixed-use hub at its centre.

“We were particularly proud of Dockside,” David says. “DOMA was the first developer to deliver a promenade on Lake Burley Griffin, kicking off the activation of the area.”

Whereas DOMA’s other project, The Pier, was the final installation at The Foreshore. The retail spaces on the much-anticipated ‘island’ development were so popular, they all sold prior to construction.

The Parks, Red Hill will be delivered in conjunction with the ACT Government’s comprehensive Estate Development Plan for the precinct. Extensive consultation with the community has laid the groundwork to bring the vision for this new community to life.

Positioned beautifully, The Parks complements the capital’s most beautiful suburb. Elegant, stylish and connected with nature, residents can enjoy the best Canberra has to offer, only 6km south of the CBD.

Pre-existing pedestrian paths enhance the future precinct’s connectivity, to both the surrounding neighbourhood and the different residential areas within the community. Large open spaces will further enhance the village-style vibe of the development while simultaneously encouraging an active lifestyle.

Families have the benefit of choosing from an array of premium schools. St. Benedict’s Primary School, St Bede’s Primary School, Red Hill School and Canberra Grammar School are all within close proximity of the project’s doorstep.

The average rental yield for a two-bedroom apartment in Red Hill sits relatively high at 5.89% and vacancy rates are incredibly low. Small wonder given the suburb lies just 12 minutes drive away from Canberra’s CBD and no more than 35 minutes via public transport.

The first release of The Parks, Red Hill will launch by the end of the year — enquire here to find out more.
