Nera Residences reports $30m apartment sales in initial weeks post-launch

Bastion Property Group has amassed over $30 million in sales, a mere two months after the official launch of its Nera Residences project. 

The news comes as a result of high demand from interested buyers eager to secure a stake in the property market on Chevron Island.

The total value of $145 million development encompasses 81 boutique luxury apartments, six sky-homes, and a full-floor penthouse. Notably, there has been a rise in local buyers keen to experience the walkable village lifestyle that the island suburb offers. This sales surge edges Nera Residences closer to commencing construction, after securing development approval in the latter part of last year.

"The sales so far have comprised two-bedroom apartments ranging from $1.2 million to $1.65 million, alongside half-floor three-bedroom apartments that go from $2.2 million to $3.5 million," said Alex De Vincentiis, managing director of ONE:PM.

“Local buyers have been quick to identify the unique offering at Nera Residences, with some buyers already existing Chevron Island residents."

Not only locals but also interstate buyers have been among the early takers, many of whom note the value that Nera Residences signifies regarding a central Gold Coast location.

Centrally stationed at the northern part of Chevron, right at 8-10 Parneno Street, Nera Residences is a short walk distance from Surfers Paradise and Chevron Island's core retail and dining scene. This landmark offering has been carefully designed to attract local owner-occupiers and interstate buyers seeking their slice of Gold Coast paradise.

"The pre-launch campaign garnered hundreds of inquiries and secured several firm commitments from buyers," said De Vincentiis.

"This momentum has persisted well beyond the initial quarter."

He also emphasised how most buyers were instantly taken by the island's unique positioning and easy access to the light rail and the city's cultural precinct at Evandale, but were also substantially impressed by the stunning designs of Nera's residences and the available amenities.

The luxury apartments, designed by award-winning firms BDA Architecture and Paradigm Design Studio, offer large open floor plans alongside generous balconies furnished with luxe fittings and inclusions. Positioned 28 storeys high, many Nera apartments bear the benefit of 360-degree views of the ocean, river, and hinterland.

Nera Residences, backed and built by Bastion Property Group, is geared up for construction starting in the next few months. 

As per Bastion Property Group's estimations, Nera Residences is all set to receive its first residents in 2026.
