Designed by multi-award-winning firms Conrad Architects, Mim Design and Jack Merlo, the collection of homes at Ten to Twelve Lindsay Street, Brighton is a rare offering with a unique personality. “When people arrive at Ten to Twelve, we really want them to feel a sense of calm. We wanted them to feel as though they are returning to a safe and nurturing place,” says Paul Conrad of Conrad Architects.
Inspired by the exceptional nature of Brighton, the design team has crafted the homes to maximise natural lighting while inviting in the inherent visual beauty of Lindsay Street. A connection to nature is also at the design intent’s forefront; every apartment is offered either a beautiful balcony or ground-level terrace. “We chose deciduous plantings to allow for seasonal change - this means more colour in autumn, more light in winter and more shade in summer,” explains acclaimed landscape architect Jack Merlo.

The development is located on a quiet and picturesque street, just moments from the vibrant Brighton main thoroughfare, Church Street - home to many trendy cafes and restaurants. The famous Brighton Beach is just a five-minute drive away, or only 20 minutes by foot - the perfect proximity for impromptu visits to the sea. The Middle Brighton train station is also a short walk from Ten to Twelve Lindsay Street, putting residents within 30 minutes of Melbourne city.
Inspired by the enviable locale, Conrad Architects envisioned the development as an address of thoughtful forms and confident materiality. “Timeless character is created using traditional proportions, restrained details and elegant finishes - those elements used for thousands of years to create beautiful architecture,” says Paul.
Miriam Fanning, of Mim Design, explains, “from the very start, we had a vision to create a development which was all about the finer things in life. When you see the kitchen, you’ll see we’ve installed beautiful chamfered stone which gently softens the angled details on the benchtops.”
“We believe in the importance of authenticity. Natural stone, walnut timber, brass details - these all age gracefully and take on a life of their own,” Miriam continues.

The development team at Ten to Twelve Lindsay Street is offering purchasers a range of guarantees for added peace of mind. The homes come with an assurance of their craftsmanship with a 50-week builder’s defect liability period and a six-year building guarantee. The team is also offering an option to upgrade all appliances to a five-year warranty. For added safety, all facade materials at Ten to Twelve Lindsay Street have been approved by Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV).
The development is currently under construction with residents expected to move in early 2022. For more information on Ten to Twelve Lindsay Street, click here.
