Construction is set to start soon on a luxury apartment tower at Rainbow Bay after the appointment of leading Gold Coast-based builder Groupline Constructions.
Holm at Rainbow Bay is already around two thirds sold with $90 million worth of apartments under contract, including a lavish penthouse that set the record for a non-beachfront Gold Coast development.
Groupline is one of South East Queensland’s most experienced and longstanding builders and is currently building Glasshouse at Burleigh Heads, which holds the record of $24 million for the sale of a penthouse prior to construction.
Holm developer Chapter Two appointed Groupline after an extensive search for the right builder to take on the Eden Avenue project that has topped recent sales in the southern Gold Coast region.
“We are delighted to have engaged Groupline and are completely confident in their ability to start and finish the project to the highest quality,” said Chapter Two Director Jon Quayle.
“Groupline is a multi-generational, privately-owned company with a proven track record of delivering buildings just like Holm for more than 30 years,” Mr Quayle said. “Like Chapter Two, they are quite selective about the projects they take on, so we’re very pleased with this exciting new partnership.
“Holm will take luxury apartment living on the Rainbow Bay peninsula to a new level with opulent residences and world-class resident amenities located just moments from incredible beaches and surf breaks.”
Groupline Managing Director David Widdicombe said Holm was the perfect size and scale project for the company in a great location experiencing strong demand from both local and interstate buyers.
“We are thrilled to team up with Chapter Two on Holm Rainbow Bay and look forward to getting started as soon as possible,” he said.
“Groupline has decades of experience on the Gold Coast and we’re very well known for our project management and strict internal processes that always ensure a high build quality in a timely manner.
“So it made perfect sense for Chapter Two to partner with us on their first large-scale Gold Coast project, and we look forward to adding Holm Rainbow Bay to our portfolio of completed buildings.”
Designed by award-winning firm Plus Architecture, Holm apartments range from two, three, or four bedrooms with spacious open-plan living, generous outdoor areas, and luxury fixtures and finishes throughout.
The 12-level project will also feature one of the coast’s most extensive array of exclusive resident amenities, including a stunning 25-metre ocean view pool, spa, sauna, steam room, and gym, together with commute-free office suites, library, and private dining rooms.
Chapter Two Director Oliver Bagheri said Holm was ideally located close to the beach, parklands, scenic walking paths, dining precincts, golf courses, the Gold Coast airport, and the picturesque Tweed River.
“Holm is our third project on the Gold Coast and our largest apartment development to date, so the location was very important to us,” he said.
“Coolangatta, Greenmount, and Rainbow Bay beaches are all within walking distance of Holm, together with the world-famous Snapper Rocks surf breaks.”
