Tina Fey, one of the funniest women in Hollywood, has recently upped her property game, by purchasing a new 'fetch' apartment in New York City.

The aclaimed actress, who most recently appeared in a comedy named Sisters with partner-in-crime Amy Poehler, has gone up the Hollywood popularity list, having recently been regarded as one of Time Magazine's most influential women.

Bought for just over $9.5m USD, Tina Fey, and husband Jeff Richmond, the apartment, registered at approximately 3,000 square feet, with 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, the apartment is worth over three-times the one they bought in 2009.

What is most interesting, is that Fey and Jackson paid $2m USD over the asking price to ensure they secured the property.

Featuring a private elevator, over two dozen newly installed windows, two fireplaces, a private laundry room, and in a pre-war Apartment, the very rare central air conditioning.

In addition to all that, the apartment has a huge 700 square foot living room, as well as a library.

We imagine the layout will be substantially altered when combined with the apartment downstairs but at the time of the purchase the unit was configured with two en suite guest/family bedrooms and a library/office off the living room that also has a private bath and, hence, could easily be pressed into use as a third guest or family bedroom,” said Variety.

The master suite, well located for maximum privacy at the extreme rear of the apartment, encompasses an entrance vestibule, ample corner bedroom with fireplace, a walk-in closet plus a separate wardrobe-lined dressing room, and a bathroom with two windows, two sinks, soaking tub and separate shower stall.
