Queensland builder-developer 5Point Projects has laid plans for a new residential project at Palm Beach on an absolute beachfront site, recently acquired for $15.8 million.

5Point lodged a development application with the City of Gold Coast last week for Palm Shores - a development that will comprise 16 apartments over nine levels in one of the most sought-after beachfront precincts of Palm Beach.

The 824sqm site, located at 171-173 Jefferson Lane, offers a rare 20 metres of absolute beach frontage.

Palm Shores also builds on a suite of award winning projects undertaken on the southern Gold Coast by 5Point in recent years, along with Ophira - Palm Beach, another absolute beachfront development currently under construction in Jefferson Lane.

“Palm Beach is among the most desirable beachfront suburbs on the Gold Coast and Palm Shores affirms our commitment to delivering the ultimate in coastal living for discerning buyers,” said Damian Dove, director of 5Point.

“Our aim is to keep it boutique, private and exclusive while capturing the very essence of the laid-back lifestyle of Palm Beach.

“The proposal we have put forward for this magnificent site is code assessable which assures buyers that we can bring this development to the market as soon as possible.”

Designed by award winning Plus Architecture, Palm Shores will deliver two apartments per floor across six levels in three-bedroom layouts with each of these apartments offering a north-south split.

Palm Shores will also introduce two beach homes of four bedrooms spanning two levels comprising the ground and first floors. Each of the beach homes will have its own pool and private grassed yard facing the beachfront.

The dual crowning glory of Palm Shores will comprise two penthouses spanning two storeys, each with their own private rooftop amenities such as pool, barbecue and entertaining area.

Taking advantage of the absolute beachfront location, all residents of Palm Shores will have access to an array of shared facilities on the ground floor comprising hot and cold pools, sauna, barbecue and entertaining zone, as well as dedicated toilet and shower facilities.

Each of the luxury residences planned for Palm Shores will incorporate high-end finishes, such as natural stones for floors and walls in wet areas, including all kitchen, bathroom and laundry bench tops.

Timber floors are planned throughout, including hallways, kitchen, living and dining, while natural wool carpets will add to the plush tones of all bedrooms.
