In the first half of 2026, no new apartment development on the Gold Coast sold more homes than The Eveleigh.
The latest Urbis Apartment Market Essentials data shows Hirsch & Faigen’s Broadbeach address recorded 52 sales between January and June. The next best performer recorded 35. Urbis tracked 97 new apartment developments across the Gold Coast over the same period, and together they recorded 644 sales. Put simply, roughly one in every 12 new apartments sold on the Gold Coast in the first half of the year was at 7-9 Surf Parade, Broadbeach - The Eveleigh.
A lead like that in a booming market says something about the homes themselves. So what are buyers responding to?

Who’s buying, and why
The Eveleigh team says most buyers fall into two groups: locals ready to downsize, and interstate buyers making a lifestyle move. Many are planning a permanent or future home on the coast rather than a holiday apartment.
Plenty are coming from larger houses, happy to leave the garden and the upkeep behind. But, they still want the things that made a house work: a spare room for visiting family, space to host, privacy, and somewhere to park two cars. The Eveleigh offers exactly that.

The premium three-bed homes: just four to a floor
The above list could be a description of The Eveleigh’s premium three-bedroom residences. The homes currently listed offer three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and two car spaces, with floor plans of 135 to 138 sqm.
There are only four residences on each floor, so you have fewer neighbours and protected coastal outlooks. Award-winning architecture firm Rothelowman brought the living areas right to the glass instead of wrapping balconies around the building, so ocean and hinterland views fill the room. Kitchens centre on stone island benches, integrated joinery, and European appliances, ensuring functionality and beauty.

The Penthouse Collection
The half-floor Penthouse Collection gives all of that more room. With just two residences sharing each level, these homes offer greater scale, more privacy, and a higher level of finish.
For people leaving a larger family home, that scale matters. There’s room to set a full table, put up visiting family, and keep the sense of space they’re used to, without the upkeep that came with it.
Positioned near the top of the building, Rothelowman’s sculpted arch traces the coastline in these homes, and full-height glazing slides back to open the dining area to the ocean air. Natural stone floors, a finely veined island bench, and timber and leather seating finish the space.

“The success of The Eveleigh reflects the strength of its premium offering and the enduring appeal of Broadbeach,” said Richard Hirsch, director of Hirsch & Faigen.
"With only four residences per floor, generous resident car parking, elevated finishes, and a highly considered architectural design, the project has been created around space, privacy, and quality.
“The premium three-bedroom residences and Penthouse Collection build on those strengths, delivering an exceptional level of liveability in one of Queensland’s most desirable locations.”

An entertainer’s dream: the amenities
Part of what’s driving those 52 sales is what happens outside each home. The podium level works like a private resort for residents. There’s a sunlit pool terrace for morning laps, a yoga garden tucked into subtropical planting, and pavilions for a quiet afternoon. The private gym opens onto greenery, and a sauna finishes the routine.
Head to the roof and the view opens up across sea, city, and hinterland, with natural stone underfoot and timber detailing throughout. The private dining suite is made for the moments downsizers didn’t want to give up, like the long family lunch, the milestone birthday, or dinner with friends as the light drops over the ocean.
For buyers trading a big house for an apartment, this is where the extra space lives.

Broadbeach on foot
Location is the other half of The Eveleigh’s story, and it's hard to beat. Kurrawa Beach and the Broadbeach foreshore are a short walk away, along with the surf club and Kurrawa Park. The Oracle dining precinct and Elizabeth Avenue’s restaurants are close by for dinner, and the expansive Pacific Fair with its designer boutiques is within easy reach.
In between, there’s coffee at KoKo Coffee Roasters, pastries from Bam Bam Bakehouse, an afternoon at 19 Karen Artspace, and Blues on Broadbeach when the festival rolls into town. It’s an established address that keeps getting better, with ongoing investment across the precinct adding to what’s already here. It’s easy to see why so many buyers want to call it home.

A fourth Gold Coast chapter
The Eveleigh is Hirsch & Faigen’s fourth Gold Coast development in five years. Hemingway in Palm Beach, Emerson at Kirra Beach, and Yves in Mermaid Beach each sold out before completion. The team now brings their expertise north to Broadbeach, continuing their steady run along the coast.
Construction is underway with Maxcon, and completion is expected in mid-2028.
Three-bedroom residences at The Eveleigh start from $2,870,000.
