Malaysian developer MRCB is setting a new standard for premium sustainable design in the Gold Coast with 26 Vista - their brand new apartment project.

Ravi Krishnan, CEO of MRCB, expresses his enthusiasm for the green development.

“We’re incredibly excited by the prospect of 26 Vista becoming one of the sustainability leaders on the Gold Coast,” he stated. “We are proudly moving away from gas, a move that is widely popular interstate but rarely explored with Gold Coast developments.”

Comprising one, two, three, and four-bedroom apartments, 26 Vista presents a cosmopolitan collection of residences, now selling. Complete with a connected coastal address and a suite of resort-style amenities, life here is immaculate.

Affirming this premium lifestyle for now and the future is its sustainable principles.

Set to be one of the Coast’s greenest towers, developer MRCB has taken the necessary steps to reduce the project’s carbon footprint and produce lower resident energy bills. This includes an all-electric energy solution that completely eliminates gas usage - a demonstration of the developer’s commitment to delivering a project that introduces a change in a market that is evidently slower to welcome eco-initiatives.

Expertly designed by award-winning architects, DBI, 26 Vista capitalises on Queensland’s subtropical climate by applying an east-facing orientation and cross-ventilation pathways throughout residences and communal spaces.

Combined with a soulful yet functional eco-centric design, these apartments are sublime.

“26 Vista is orientated toward the east to take advantage of the sunlight and ocean breezes, while cross-ventilation pathways that have been introduced throughout residences and in communal spaces allow for greater airflow,” explained Raith Anderson, Managing Director of DBI.

“MRCB is determined to reduce reliance on air conditioning and imbue the project with an openness not typically realised when buildings have extreme dependency on air-conditioning.”

MRCB has exclusively partnered with Swiss company V-Zug to equip each residence with premium appliances. V-Zug is an innovative leader in hygiene and efficient home appliances with carbon-neutral manufacturing operations.

Additionally, MRCB is looking to secure one of the Gold Coast’s first EV car-share programs for 26 Vista. The team seeks to further future-proof the development with necessary power infrastructure capacity upgrades to support its all-electric energy solutions and EV charging provisions for residents.

Altogether, these initiatives align with the Gold Coast City Council’s proposed new corporate plan to place greater emphasis on climate change resilience in line with new federal emission policies.
