A Porsche took to the skies above the Gold Coast yesterday morning, literally.
In a bold on-site activation at MIRA, Northcliffe Beach, a construction crane hoisted Brett Boulton’s Porsche GT3 Cup car onto a platform high above the coastline, giving the racer a jaw-dropping view over the surf, city and GC500 track.

The striking red, Lightning McQueen-inspired car, set to compete in this weekend’s 2025 GC500, hovered above MIRA's beachfront site, turning heads from beachgoers and major news outlets. With perfect Gold Coast skies and a playful nod to Adrian Portelli, founder of the luxury giveaway platform LMCT+, the stunt captured the thrill of the GC500 while showcasing Frank Developments’ vision for elevated coastal living.
“We wanted to celebrate the GC500 in a way that reflects the spirit of the Gold Coast - bold, beautiful, and full of momentum,” said Brett Boulton.
“MIRA is about elevating beachfront living to the next level, so raising Cup Car McQueen into the skyline felt like the perfect symbol,” said Frank Licastro, director, Frank Developments.

Currently under construction on the sands of Northcliffe Beach, MIRA is a $115 million boutique development that will deliver 11 dual-storey beachfront homes and a tri-level crowning penthouse. To date, eight of the 12 vertical beach homes have been sold.
Frank Developments is proud to sponsor Cup Car McQueen for the 2025 GC500, alongside Porsche Centre Gold Coast, TAG Heuer, Bold Living, MyConstruct, Michelin, and Speedcafe.

“What better way to showcase a car built for the track than by giving it the best view in town,” Brett added.
“We’re thrilled by the opportunity to be part of the GC500 excitement, see you trackside,” Frank said.
