Bastion assembles all-star team to deliver luxury Chevron Island apartments

Gold Coast developer Bastion has assembled a high-profile team of industry leaders to deliver boutique luxury apartment development Nera Residences, set to transform Chevron Island through a unique blend of architecture, wellness, and nature-inspired design.

Backed by an all-star lineup including internationally acclaimed landscape designer Jamie Durie, EMF founder and elite fitness leader Scott Freeman, and award-winning architects Studio Snell, BDA Architecture, and Plus Architects, the $160 million Nera Residences is a bold statement from a developer intent on elevating residents’ lifestyles.

Located at 8-10 Parneno Street in Chevron Island, Nera will deliver 81 boutique apartments, six sky homes, and a full-floor penthouse designed by distinguished BDA Architecture and Plus Architects, combining refined architecture, premium lifestyle amenities, and a focus on design innovation.

Jamie Durie, a globally recognised designer and television personality, will design the landscaping throughout Nera and its boutique residences, as well as create a lush, private Zen Garden as the centrepiece of Nera’s ground-level amenity offering.

Jamie said Nera’s design will go beyond aesthetics to support wellbeing, connection, and calm.

Joining Durie is EMF founder and CEO Scott Freeman, who will bring his award-winning approach to wellness and performance to Nera’s on-site gymnasium.

In another significant move, Bastion has partnered with renowned architect and design commentator Joe Snell to design three four-bedroom villas, currently in the concept stage, on the Nera grounds. A regular face on Australian television as a judge on House Rules and contributor to major design programs, Joe brings a rare blend of public influence and architectural credibility to the project’s exclusive boutique residences.

Nera’s boutique residences will be thoughtfully crafted to embody Joe’s iconic five foundational principles of design, space, light, air, sound, and view, ensuring each residence is not only functional but a refined expression of elegant coastal living.

Notably, each boutique residence links effortlessly to the Zen Garden, offering residents privileged access to Nera’s serene outdoor space.
