Finrose sits right in the heart of Lane Cove, officially Australia’s most liveable suburb. It’s a title that locals know is well-deserved and also rare to find.
Lane Cove has managed to preserve its village character despite being just 17 minutes’ drive from the Sydney CBD. It’s a destination rather than a thoroughfare and explains in part why the launch of Finrose has generated such a high level of interest, with one of two penthouses selling for $5.5 million – a record for Lane Cove.
The liveability of the suburb is more than matched by the desirability of Finrose, a boutique development of just 48 residences that bear the luxury signature of national property and construction group Traders In Purple.
“Finrose is what you get when you put people at the centre of design and planning,” says Emma Ellis, development director of Traders In Purple.
“Every detail, from rooms flooded with natural light to the selection of beautiful natural finishes, is thoughtful and considered.
“You know you are in a Traders building from the moment of arrival, when your first experience of coming home is stepping through lush landscaped gardens and into a light and welcoming lobby.”

An effortless lifestyle
As a resident of Finrose, you will be a quick stroll from The Canopy, the social heart of Lane Cove with its open green lawns, playground, indoor-outdoor dining venues, and stage for live performances, making it a favourite for locals.
But there’s much more to Lane Cove with its bustling high street home to independent retailers like Harris Farm and popular cafes and restaurants like Story Espresso, Birdwood Café, and Shorties Bar & Dining, where regulars are made to feel part of village life.
Essential services such as banks, pharmacies, and a medical centre make this a true town centre that serves its people well.
For those seeking health and wellness, the Lane Cove Aquatic Leisure Centre is just a short walk from Finrose and features indoor and outdoor pools, wellness facilities, and group fitness classes.

Architecture inspired by nature
It’s the abundance of bushland and waterways that gives Lane Cove its special character and, as a result, inspired Finrose’s design by architecture firm Plus Studio. Working in tandem with landscape practice Land + Form, they have crafted a place embedded in nature.
The use of sandstone and brick lends a sense of solidity and permanence to the seven-storey building, softened by gentle curves and green edges, reminiscent of the layering and textural qualities of the much-loved Lane Cove National Park.

Homes designed for light and calm
The two- and three-bedroom apartments are spacious and predominantly north-facing, with most enjoying cross-flow ventilation and generous balconies for outdoor living.
True to Traders’ ethos of designing from the inside out, floorplans have been carefully considered to accommodate a couple or a crowd, so that children, grandchildren, and friends will always feel welcome.
The kitchen, with its expansive natural stone island and premium Miele appliances, plays a central role in setting the scene for family gatherings where good food and lively conversation flow.
Bathrooms continue the theme of refined simplicity with natural stone vanities, sleek cabinetry, generous storage, and recessed lighting designed to flatter.
With timber floors throughout and natural stone featured in kitchens and bathrooms, the material palette is beautiful, durable, and timeless.

Shared spaces made for connection
The shared resident spaces at Finrose are deliberately relaxed and unhurried, with a lawn and garden positioned to catch afternoon warmth and sunlight. A barbecue and shaded seating areas are designed for residents to mix and mingle with neighbours or entertain friends and family.
Emma Ellis says resident amenity was curated to reflect the proximity of Finrose, avoiding duplication of local facilities such as the popular Lane Cove Aquatic Leisure Centre.
“Residents who want to swim laps or use a gym and wellness centre have easy access to public facilities just minutes from Finrose,” says Emma.
“It saves residents from paying high strata fees for amenity that they may not value or use.”

Finrose is targeting completion in mid-2028, developed and constructed by national property group Traders In Purple, with residences now selling.
Homes are priced from $2.095 million for a two-bedroom apartment with two bathrooms and one car parking space. Three-bedroom residences with two bathrooms and two car spaces are priced from $2.995 million.
