A landmark coastal address taking shape

Construction of Tower 1 is progressing rapidly, with the ground floor and Levels 1 to 3 now poured, the future retail precinct taking shape and the project's signature SOHO residences rising above the podium with precast concrete walls installed.

Come July, the podium levels accommodating retail and parking will be complete. Construction will then move into an exciting next phase, with the Level 4 recreation deck and first residential levels commencing in June 2026. Tower 1 remains on track for completion in late 2027.

Tower 2 isn’t far behind, with in-ground works progressing and the first ground floor slab scheduled to be poured in July. Completion is targeted for early 2028.

A neighbourhood that’s transforming

Maroochydore has long been one of Queensland’s most sought-after places to live, and the City Centre is now delivering on what the suburb has always promised.

Just across the road, 50 First Avenue is bringing more energy to the city centre, recently welcoming its first tenants and adding new jobs, businesses, and daily activity to the growing precinct surrounding SOL.

Adding to the growing energy, John Kyle café opened on Future Way, serving up morning coffees worth the short walk. Performax Pilates is now operating on South Sea Islander Way, with free community classes running at The MET.

For those looking to unwind, Market Wine Store hosts complimentary tastings every Friday from 5 pm and all day Saturday, while the Maroochydore Moonlight Markets bring gourmet street food, artisan stalls, and live music to the precinct on the third Saturday of each month.

Further afield, Sunshine Plaza is eight minutes away, Cotton Tree Beach is walkable, Ocean Street’s dining strip is 12 minutes on foot, and Sunshine Coast Airport is six kilometres north. The University of the Sunshine Coast is also nearby, just seven kilometres from the CBD.

The city is arriving right on schedule, and SOL is perfectly positioned to take advantage of it all.

Designed for how the coast actually feels

Inside, residences are designed to make the most of the location. Many look out to the ocean, the Maroochy River, or the hinterland, views that bring a sense of calm and space into the home regardless of what’s happening at street level below.

This considered design extends to the entire building, with SOL’s amenity offering being the most comprehensive the Maroochydore City Centre has seen.

On Level 4, The Sanctuary is the heart of it: a 20-metre lap pool, spa, cold plunge, sauna, and steam room for a complete spa-like experience. A fully equipped gym opens onto an outdoor yoga and stretching area. Barbecue and dining spaces invite residents to gather, and a communal veggie garden gives green thumbs somewhere to put their hands in the dirt.

At the southern end of The Sanctuary, the Sunset Gardens offer a quieter pace with mounded lawns for picnics, generous seating nooks, and firepits designed to make residents linger well past sunset.

High atop the second tower, the Sky Terrace takes things further: a second pool, co-working space, function room, library, and outdoor entertaining area, with panoramic views across Maroochydore in every direction.

At ground level, a curated mix of speciality retail lines the base of the building, alongside EV charging and bike parking accessible to residents and the public alike to encourage sustainable transport.
