With a construction contract believed to exceed $100 million, KWG property developers have appointed the award-winning Alliance Project Group to deliver their $300 million Castle Island residential project. The landmark project reimagines the former Castle Hill Showgrounds precinct, in the increasingly popular north-west Sydney corridor that has attracted significant urban development in recent years.

Alliance was selected because of their excellent reputation and track record. Alliance has already delivered several similar large-scale, master-planned urban developments to an exceptionally high standard.

Purpose-built on an island site, Castle Island residences will be incrementally released over three stages. Stage One involves three residential towers, totalling 108 new Apartments.

Castle Island Apartments and Sky Homes are designed collaboratively by Giles Tribe Architects, DLN, and ARVA. Canadian practice, Glyph Studio, are behind interiors, and the lauded team at Urbis are behind the project’s communal green areas, including a central courtyard and three rooftop gardens.

‘The project is a huge value add to the Northwest. Boasting an impressive seven apartment towers, it will offer views of the Hills Districts and Blue Mountains, as well as a clubhouse, gym, lobby, library, and co-working space,’ says Rouad Elayoubi, Managing Director of Alliance Project Group.

‘Most projects to date offered in the Northwest don’t have the blend of luxury, amenity, and lifestyle that Castle Island offers… Castle Island will offer a true community with an island site that allows residents to have the best of everything that apartment living offers… We are excited to be a part of this fast-growing part of Sydney… [the] Council has planned a $1billion upgrade to the Hills Showground precinct which will feature plenty of outdoor dining, retail, entertainment, and many more community-friendly facilities. Castle Island provides a great luxury value proposition for the current market and this is evidenced by the sheer volume of interest in the project to date,’ says a KWG spokesperson.

‘The finishes and features at Castle Island set a new benchmark for luxurious residential living in The Hills district, ensuring that the finishes remain timeless for future occupiers,’ says Eddie Mansour, Managing Partner at Ray White Projects.

Apartments at Castle Island are priced from $610,000 for a one-bedroom Apartment, to $1.8 million for a three-bedroom Sky Home.

Construction is now commencing at Castle Island. Stage One project completion is expected in early 2024.
