Sydney-based property developer Ellipse Property Group has received DA approval from the Hills Shire Council to develop its landmark masterplanned community Carrington Place.

Located on 36 Carrington Road in Castle Hill, on the banks of the tranquil Cattai Creek, the $850 million project soon to come to market spans approximately 3.2 hectares and is roughly 36 minutes drive northwest of the Sydney CBD and 16 minutes drive from Parramatta.

“At Ellipse Property, we believe in creating more than just buildings; we strive to develop thriving communities,” said Sam El Rihani, Founder of Ellipse Property. “With Carrington Place, our goal is to foster a sense of belonging and connection among residents.

“We envision a place where neighbours become friends, where families create lasting memories, and where the community flourishes together.”

Set to be the largest and greenest development in Castle Hill, Carrington Place will comprise 771 apartments across five buildings spanning eight to 12 storeys.

Catering to various lifestyles and preferences, residences will include a mix of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments and premium two and three-bedroom apartments of a home-sized grandeur. These generously sized residences are designed to provide ample space for residents’ needs, offering a level of comfort and luxury unrivalled in Castle Hill.

Stunningly designed by award-winning architectural firms Tony Owen Partners and Stanisic Architects, the buildings have been sensitively designed to immerse with Carrington Place’s natural landscape while complementing the curve of Cattai Creek that runs along the western border of the development.

Uniquely, the precinct will boast over 20,000 sqm of outdoor recreational spaces and lush gardens conceived by Site Image Landscape Architects, truly making it one of the greenest masterplanned communities in the Hills district.

A key feature of the development will be a one-kilometre boardwalk running the length of the Cattai Creek connecting to Fred Caterson Reserve - a 58-hectare local reserve featuring picnic tables, children’s playgrounds, and multiple sports facilities.

Additionally, Ellipse Property has committed to dedicate over 6,500 sqm of the Cattai Creek back to the community in this masterplan.

Atrium, the project's first stage, will comprise 151 apartments within one mid-rise eight-storey building that also offers a range of amenities. Residents can enjoy rooftop recreational spaces overlooking breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Joseph Chiha, Carrington Place Project Director, emphasised that Carrington Place is envisioned as a multi-stage urban village with a strong connection to nature, prioritising lifestyle, sustainability, and community.

“The project seamlessly blends with the surrounding nature and aims to become one of Sydney's most sustainable urban communities,” said Mr Chiha.

Mr Rihani acknowledged that Carrington Place represents a significant milestone for Ellipse Property, as evidenced by the excitement surrounding its highly anticipated launch.
