Esteemed developer Fortis has lodged plans for a $125 million project in the coveted beachside suburb of Bronte.

This will be Fortis’ first collection of luxury houses in Sydney. Situated at 122-128 Hewlett Street in Bronte, the site boasts an area of 2,472 sqm. Originally acquired by Fortis for $44 million at the beginning of this year, the development comes as a response to increased demand for luxury homes in Sydney’s east.

Once Waverly Council approves plans for the development, construction is expected to commence by mid-2023.

With Fortis’ strong reputation and proven approach to residential design and development, a level of expertise in creating boutique apartments will be applied to these luxurious new homes in Sydney’s East.

“Fortis has carved a reputation for itself over the years for premium residential developments in blue-chip locations across Sydney and Melbourne. We are excited to be utilising our considered approach to develop luxury houses that offer an enviable combination of location, amenity and quality,” says Fortis Director Charles Mellick.

“This will be the first collection of houses by Fortis”, Mellick adds, “making this project a notable milestone for us. With an expected end value of $125 million, we are investing in the future of the luxury residential coastal market in Sydney that continues to remain buoyant. We look forward to working collaboratively with the community to deliver a superior product in a desirable location”.

With architecture by MHN Design Union and interior design by Alexander and Co and Lawless & Meterson, the architectural facades of this project will feature prominently. The custom brickwork and European lime renders and screening will compliment the premium nature of these exclusive private homes.

Residences are set to feature either three or four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and secure basement parking. From open-plan living and dining areas, residences will open out onto north-facing private pools and lush gardens designed by Wyer & Co, as well as stunning views across Bronte Beach from upper-level homes.

All homes at the project will feature full-floor master retreats, including an expansive bedroom, walk-in robes and ensuites, dedicated laundry rooms, custom swimming pills and spas, grotto entertainment areas in the rear garden and integrated Sub-Zero and Wolf appliances.

Prospective buyers with a commitment to wellness can enjoy one of the select residences with a wellness room that can be converted into a gym, pilates or yoga studio, cinema room or even a private art studio or kids rumpus room.

Renowned for its pristine white sands and beautiful parklands, Bronte is a sought-after coastal suburb only eight kilometres east of Sydney CBD. Situated on a site just 200 metres from Bronte Beach, this new project from Fortis is an exciting development in the luxury Sydney market.
