The City of Gold Coast has officially given the green light to Frank Developments’ new luxury tower. Construction of this project, named MIRA Residences, will commence this year in 2023.

This will be Frank Developments’ director Frank Licastro’s first foray into Gold Coast development after a wealth of experience in Brisbane. MIRA Residences will comprise 25-storeys and will extend their development footprint beyond Brisbane.

The dual-level floorplan of MIRA will offer all residents penthouse style living. Going above and beyond what a traditional apartment offers, this project’s revolutionary design will be the first of its kind in the Gold Coast.

Mr Licastro said that ““A double-level floor plan is traditionally reserved for the penthouse purchaser. At MIRA every apartment is dual-level meaning every resident will experience the penthouse way of life – private, elevated and life enhancing”.

According to Mr Licrastro the project has also amassed significant interest from local, interstate, and international buyers. This, Mr Licastro says, has been achieved by prioritising quality over quantity.

“MIRA is curated with connection in mind”, says Mr Licastro. “This one of a kind design offers peace, connection to place and like minded people unlike larger, less intimate high rises.”

The new residences will neighbour Northcliffe Surf Life Saving Club, on a 607 sqm site that wil make way for the sophisticated beachfront MIRA development.

Northcliffe is a development-rich area, with several impressive new luxury residences.

“Coastal site scarcity will see engineering prowess progress savvy, slender towers like MIRA. Designing slim and tall is an innovative way to achieve development capacity within strategic city centres with few large parcels of land remaining,” said Mr Licastro.

Project architect Ferro Chow’s co-director Marco Ferro said, architecturally, they become landmarks: “Minimising building mass and footprint to retain view corridors, MIRA’s impact on the skyline will be significantly less than conventional neighbouring developments. We believe this unique design will become an iconic address”. He praised the Gold Coast city planners and council for acknowledging innovation: “MIRA is a bold interpretation of what is possible within the requirements of the Surfers Paradise zoning envelope.”

Apartments with four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, and two to three also boast beautiful panoramic views. Onsite amenities will include a gym, sauna, steam room, sunbed sanctuary, barbecue, outdoor showers, and beach lockers. Level One of the project will also incorporate private dining that overlooks a 180-degree resort-style pool. Each home also features private beach access.

This is sure to be an exciting addition to Northcliffe and one not to be missed by luxury apartment buyers in the Gold Coast.
