Located a short boat ride from the Gold Coast Broadwater and Southport, Hope Island is renowned for its stunning waterways, world-class golf courses, and picturesque natural landscape.
It is currently undergoing a $500 million transformation led by Gold Coast-based developer Aniko Group. They recently reached a significant milestone with the completion and sell-out of its premium townhouse development, the $60 million 35 Grant Avenue.

This luxury residence has achieved full sell-out status of all 58 townhouses, further advancing Aniko Group’s broader vision for the transformation of Hope Island.
George Mastrocostas, managing director of Aniko Group, said the project’s success reflects a strong market appetite for luxury housing in Hope Island.
“The sell-out of 35 Grant Avenue highlights the continued demand for sophisticated and functional homes in sought-after locations like Hope Island”, said George.
“This waterfront development is part of our broader vision to enhance the quality of life for residents and contribute to the ongoing revitalisation of the area.
“The completion and sell-out of this project highlights the strong demand for quality homes in this area.”
$170 million development officially complete
Aniko Group has also officially completed Athena Quays, a landmark luxury waterfront development that marks another key milestone in the ongoing transformation of Hope Island. Athena Quays adds a new level of sophistication to the sought-after Hope Island precinct, providing a rare opportunity for residents to secure premium waterfront living.
The $170 million development has already sold the majority of its residences, with only two three-bedroom waterfront Skyhomes remaining. Athena Quays represents one of the last opportunities to secure a property in Hope Island’s coveted waterfront market.

Designed to capitalise on its waterfront location, each residence features open-plan living areas, expansive balconies, designer kitchens with stainless steel appliances, and high-quality finishes throughout, providing a perfect blend of style and functionality.
“We’ve always aimed to create a project that offers more than just a place to live,” said George.
“With Athena Quays, we’ve focused on delivering a luxury lifestyle that integrates beautifully with the natural surroundings – creating an exceptional living experience for all our residents.”
The development is also ideally situated near world-class golf courses, cosmopolitan dining options, and natural attractions such as Wave Break Island and South Stradbroke Island. Athena Quays includes a range of resort-style amenities designed to cater to modern needs, including a luxurious pool, state-of-the-art gymnasium, business lounge, private media rooms, and beautifully landscaped gardens.
Given the ongoing demand and limited supply of luxury properties in the area, buyers are encouraged to act quickly.
Aniko has now set their sights on Mermaid Beach
Following the completion of Aniko Group’s $500 million transformation of Hope Island, Aniko Group is now preparing for The Landmark, a $2.5 billion mixed-use project in Mermaid Beach, set to become the Gold Coast’s largest development since The Star Casino, with four towers and an internationally branded hotel.
Construction is set to start this year.
