Independent funds management firm Jameson Capital has collaborated with HUB Property Group to successfully complete a luxury apartment development in one of Melbourne’s most sought after suburbs, Brighton. The residences cater to the growing demand for downsizer homes.

Aptly named Ten to Twelve, the project sits on 10-12 Lindsay Street, Brighton where two residential homes previously resided.

Ten to Twelve comprises 10 premium apartments, all boasting three bedrooms, two bathrooms, two car spaces, and expansive living floor plans.

As the product of an expert collaboration between internationally recognised Conrad Architects, award-winning design practice Mim Design, and premier landscape architects Jack Merlo, the homes at Ten to Twelve boast high-end finishes and breathtaking natural light.

Enviable 10 ft high ceilings command each residence, with Aguila marble benches in kitchens, elegant timber floorboards across each home, and floor-to-ceiling double-glazed glass doors. Not to mention, each apartment has its own private self-contained facilities.

Myles Hornbuckle, Investment Management Director at Jameson Capital, says that “We are excited to announce the completion of our luxury Brighton apartments. We have had a very positive reception from the community, with a number of our sales being to Brighton locals. Many have raised families in the area and established themselves here and are now at the stage where they want to downsize and continue to enjoy their community.”

Jameson Capital has astutely recognised the growing trend in downsizer homes over the last few years and identified a gap to create homes for older Australians seeking this option.

Brighton is home to many people looking to downsize while maintaining the luxury of a Brighton lifestyle. As a result, Jameson Capital have seized an opportunity with Ten to Twelve.

“We understood there was demand in the market in creating an apartment geared towards downsizers, which allows them to experience the luxury and quality of finishes they had previously but in a smaller footprint,” says Mr Hornbuckle. “We see downsizer apartments as a growing trend that will continue as the generational shift continues.”

Since its founding in 2015, the Melbourne-based Jameson Capital firm has been involved in more than $2 billion worth of real estate transactions. The firm as a whole specialises in private equity, private credit, and real estate, with its founders having more than three decades of combined experience in Australian real estate. Now complete, Ten to Twelve is a welcome addition to their collection of lucrative real estate projects.
