Fast-growing developer and builder Lowe Living has doubled down on Melbourne’s bayside luxury residential market acquiring two new prominent development sites further expanding the company’s foothold in Melbourne’s inner southeast.

The development sites, located at 364-366 Beaconsfield Pde St Kilda West and 31 – 35 Alicia Street, Hampton, sized 1,200sqm and 2,800sqm respectively, together represent a combined pipeline value of $140 million and represent the 18th and 19th acquisitions for the developer following a period of strong growth for them in the previous 24 months.

The addition of these two acquisitions brings Lowe Living’s total development pipeline to a value of $770 million. Both transactions were acquired off-market and negotiated directly with the respective private vendors. Lowe Living’s Beaconsfield Parade project was acquired in June 2024 representing a rare absolute waterfront position, located directly opposite the iconic Catani Gardens.

Initial plans for the site include a boutique development of 19 high-end residences offering stunning uninterrupted views of Port Phillip Bay and skyline city views protected by caveats that prevent obstruction by future developments.

Award-winning architecture firm Jackson Clement Burrows, known for their most recent accolade the St Kilda Pier redevelopment, and award-winning interior designer Brahman Perera are attached to the project’s design. Promising to offer a distinctive residential experience with world-class architecture and finishes, the project’s end value is $65 million.

Lowe Living‘s second acquisition on Alicia Street marks the company’s third project in Hampton, where it intends to create an intimate collection of sophisticated residences designed to blend seamlessly with the local streetscape, with an estimated GRV of $75 million. Architect and interior design studio Cera Stribley have been appointed to the project’s design of 32 permit approved residences.

Both developments are poised to raise the bar for luxury living in Melbourne’s inner southeast, building on Lowe Living’s reputation as a trusted developer and builder in Melbourne. With a proven track record of projects across Hampton, Sandringham, Brighton, Black Rock, and more – these latest acquisitions further underscore Lowe Living’s ability to deliver sophisticated housing tailored to meet the needs of discerning buyers, while respecting the unique neighbourly charm and character of surrounding bayside communities.

“Opportunities like Beaconsfield Parade are extraordinarily rare in St Kilda West. This project will honour the exclusivity of the location with thoughtfully designed residences that reflect our commitment to delivering homes of the highest quality," said Emma Lowe, co-Founder and managing director of Lowe Living.

“Our new Alicia Street project encapsulates everything Lowe Living stands for – exceptional design, a deep understanding of the bayside lifestyle, and a meticulous approach to delivering homes that exceed expectations.”
