Located on Hampton’s leafy Ocean Street is Oceano. Designed by developer and builder Lowe Living in collaboration with Australian media personality Bec Judd, this exclusive collection of luxury apartments has achieved 40 per cent of residences sold before launch.

Comprising only nine contemporary apartments and two exclusive penthouses, Oceano has seen immense success before its official sales launch with over 40 per cent of residences sold, totalling $8.5 million. This includes both luxury penthouses, leaving just five residences left for purchase.

This is Lowe Living’s second multi-residential project with interiors designed by Bec Judd, following her design of the final release of Sera in Brighton. Bringing her coveted style to the homes of Oceano, this luxury residential project offers true coastal perfection.

Oceano comprises just nine contemporary apartments and two exclusive penthouses. Embodying the very essence of Bayside living, the development is just moments away from the charming Hampton Beach and Hampton’s main precinct, brimming with gourmet dining and boutique amenities.

Architecturally designed by boutique practice ADDARC, the exterior of Oceano departs from the typical beachside aesthetic with a contemporary, industrial-inspired façade composed of statement brickwork with bold graphite sunscreens and stucco rendering. Balanced by soft, inviting interiors, the result is a contemporary, refined, and timeless development.

Florian Wild, landscape architect of the project, will bring verdure that will complement the striking built form, responding to the renowned Bayside locale and establishing Oceano as an experiential sanctuary.

Speaking on her inspiration for Oceano, Bec sought to blend coastal sensibility with a sophisticated form. Complementing the impressive external façade, Bec and the team created inviting interiors composed of rich textures that instantly felt like home.

“The intention was for Oceano’s interiors to beautifully juxtapose the bold exterior with a soft aesthetic that feels luxurious, cosy, and sophisticated,” Bec remarked. “I wanted to establish a design narrative that felt unique to this address.”

Each residence boasts generously spaced interiors of carefully considered layouts. Elegant timber flooring across the home and a stunning natural stone benchtop in the kitchen contrast with striking gunmetal fixtures for a bold edge. While handcrafted ceramic tiles frame a suite of high-end Miele appliances.

“The gravitas of the kitchen flows effortlessly through to a living space, creating a functional yet aesthetic interior environment that radiates with a refined vitality,” explained Bec. “Luxury furnishings are accompanied by customisable joinery, blending beauty with practicality, and allowing residents to personalise Oceano into their true dream home.”

Emma Lowe, Owner and Managing Director of Lowe Living, speaks to the ease of working with Bec and the project team.

“Bec’s natural design ability and unique considered style has resulted in interiors that are effortlessly sophisticated yet welcoming, perfectly achieving our design vision and bringing an exclusive offering to market that is resonating with our target demographic, with only five residences remaining for purchase,” she said.

“We’ve experienced an outstanding response off-market, and it’s a testament to Bec’s talent and the Lowe Living brand,” she continued. “To have sold 40 per cent of Oceano, including the two penthouses, before officially launching is something that we’re really proud of and is reflective of the calibre of work and dedication the entire team has put into this project.

“Lowe Living is passionate about delivering iconic and timeless spaces, and Oceano is another example of how Lowe Living is offering uncompromising luxury, coastal charm, and modern comfort in one of Melbourne’s most aspirational suburbs.”
