Pikos Group is strengthening its reputation as one of Brisbane’s leading residential developers with the acquisition of a highly sought-after site in Newstead. Known for securing landmark inner-city locations, Pikos’ latest purchase is ideally positioned near the vibrant James St New Farm precinct, Newstead, and Teneriffe, as well as the Brisbane Riverwalk.

The site measures 2,346m2 and is located in close proximity to the Gasworks lifestyle precinct, running along Waterloo St from Byres St to Gordon St, ensuring views over Waterfront Park out to Brisbane River.

Pikos Group CEO Michelle Wooldridge said the development site required the acquisition of six allotments, which exemplified the company's expertise in managing land consolidations.

Currently Pikos has over $1 billion worth of luxury projects in its residential development pipeline in Brisbane. Michelle said this new acquisition highlighted the company’s confidence in its ability to deliver and signalled its commitment to building more much needed housing stock.

“We currently have three projects under construction, two of which are nearing completion. These projects have demonstrated our ability to continue delivering in today’s ongoing challenging environment.”

Of these three current projects, Skye by Pikos is the company’s legacy project. Having now topped out, Skye has already become a landmark above the Kangaroo Point cliffs, visible from the city and surrounds.

Comprising just 69 lavish residences Skye comprises 64 three-bedroom apartments and five exceptional penthouses. Extraordinary Brisbane River and CBD views, impeccable luxury finishes such as Roman Classic Travertine and a location offering effortless access to Brisbane’s dining, shopping and cultural precincts are highlights. Nearing completion, limited stock remains.

Also nearing completion, Hillview Collection is a boutique collection of just six penthouse-level apartments with city views located on Montpelier Hill on Brisbane’s inner-city fringe, in close proximity to Newstead’s Gasworks lifestyle precinct. Gaia-Kangaroo Point (due for completion in mid-2027) will be an extraordinary inner-city sanctuary where stunning Brisbane River views meet effortless access to the city.

Offering resort-style living, luxurious interiors, world-class amenities, a welcoming community and an abundance of lush green parkland spaces, Gaia will incorporate over 20 leisure and wellness zones.

Gaia was a demonstration of Pikos’ patience for complex acquisitions, with eight sites acquired over a decade. Pikos Group has over 37 years of experience in residential construction. Its commitment to high-end design runs deep, with every detail carefully curated to deliver an unrivalled standard of finish.
