With an extensive 100-metre river frontage, Skye’s 69 luxurious residences promise expansive vistas of the river and city skyline, ensuring a living experience without comparison. Aiming for completion in 2025, the project is a monument to architectural excellence and opulence, led by Brisbane-based architecture firm Conrad Gargett. Its unique selling points include a prestigious location, unparalleled finishes that comprise handpicked Roman travertine, and generously sized floorplans.

“Skye represents ultimate luxury,” said Pedro.

The commitment to luxury is evident in every element of Skye’s design, from the maximisation of natural light through innovative voids to cross ventilation and the integration of verdant greenery throughout the structure, all nodding to Brisbane’s subtropical climate.

Handpicked Italian travertine

The aesthetic cornerstone of the project is stunning travertine from Tivoli, Italy.

Pedro Pikos travelled to Italy with Pikos executive director Simon Cathcart and interior architecture and design expert Julie Williamson to hand-select the perfect travertine finishes.

“It was essential we viewed the stone in person, in natural light, to ensure it aligned with our vision for the project,” Pedro said.

“Sourcing the finest Roman Travertine was essential for us to realise our vision for Skye,” said Michelle Wooldridge, CEO of Pikos Group.

“The stone we’ve chosen will provide an exquisite natural canvas for our buyers to bring to life with their own furnishings and personal style.”

This focus on premium material ensures that every residence is more than just a space—it’s a design masterpiece, with the natural beauty of the stone acting as a luxurious backdrop to personal style interpretations.

In addition to aesthetics, Skye prioritises sustainability and future-readiness, boasting features such as electric vehicle charging facilities and a design that encourages natural ventilation, aligning with a greener living ethos.

High-end finishes within the residences, including 220mm wide European Oak engineered timber flooring, Parisi tapware, and cutting-edge V-ZUG appliances, ensure a seamless blend of functionality and elegance.
