Developer Joy-Ann Blossom Pty has brought a new landmark townhome development to Melbourne’s west.

The boutique collection of townhouses, designed by Taouk Architects, features a façade made up of a combination of solid forms, materials and varied roofing styles — ensuring Rosa integrates seamlessly with the streetscape. As a result, each home has its own unique style and street frontage, creating a sense of address and individuality.

Inside, natural light fills the large modern open plan living areas through full-height double-glazed windows, highlighting the warm mixed-grain timber flooring. And by using a slightly darker hued timber in the kitchen cabinetry and beneath the large island bench, the design team has created a continuity of sophisticated style.

The bedrooms have been crafted to achieve a sense of elegant tranquillity that is continued in the adjoining ensuite and main bathroom. In these tiled sanctuaries, a herringbone tiled feature wall complements the demure floating vanity and black tapware.

Located on Birdwood Road, Rosa places residents near to beautifully landscaped green spaces. A pocket park at the project’s doorstep is the perfect place to engage with nature on the way home. Slightly further away, Maribyrnong Family Park connects to Jacks Wood Reserve, providing ample space for kicking the footy or hosting a picnic with friends and family.

Highpoint Shopping Centre is only 5 minutes away by car. The centre is the second largest of its kind in Victoria and houses two supermarkets as well as an abundance of retail options. Between browsing designer labels and boutique brands, or enjoying a movie at the Hoyts cinema, there’s plenty to fill the weekends.

Sports lovers will appreciate the close proximity of the Maribyrnong Aquatic Centre. With a 50m indoor pool, a large warm water exercise pool, spa and steam room, as well as fitness facilities, keeping fit will be easy and convenient. Alternately, residents can travel further afield to Ascot Vale to enjoy a casual game of tennis or a round of golf at the Riverside Golf and Tennis Centre.

With Footscray just next door, living in Maribyrnong means residents will have great access to a wide range of cuisines. The vibrant dining precinct along Barkly Street has everything from traditional Ethiopian food at Abesha to sushi at Okami and Vietnamese and Italian eateries.

In addition to a delicious array of dining options, Rosa is also surrounded by fine quality educational institutes. Highpoint Kinder Haven, Footscray North Primary School, Footscray City College, Maribyrnong College and Victoria University are all within a 10-15 minute drive of Rosa, covering the needs of toddlers right through to tertiary students.

Whether on foot, in a car or catching public transport, there are plenty of ways for residents to get where they need to go. Nearby, Footscray train station provides quick access to the CBD, while cyclists can travel along the Maribyrnong walking and bike trails.
