Lumia Lux is coming soon to The Orchards by Sekisui House; the newest addition to Norwest’s highly anticipated master-planned community. The award-winning Orchards has been incredibly successful, with all apartments in stages one and two of the development already sold out.

Designed for first home buyers, local downsizers and investors alike, Lumia Lux is the development’s most premium offering with only 127 high-end apartments that cater to the most discerning buyers. The luxury apartments promise a lifestyle that is deeply connected to the community and materiality of the local environment, whilst also ensuring residents experience a tranquil sense of privacy in their homes.

The project sales team is currently taking early expressions of interest ahead of the project’s public release on 19 March 2022.

Lumia Lux is born from a collaboration between Sekisui House, Turner architects, and Site Image Landscape Architects. Like its predecessors, this premium collection also values sustainability and connection to the local environment with a design that observes the balance between modern and timeless living.

Lumia Lux highlights thoughtful design at the forefront of every feature. Sekisui House has incorporated Japanese philosophies into the design of Lumia Lux, including principles of ‘Satoyama’. Otherwise known as ‘ribbons of green’, this ensures all homes focus on creating harmony between natural landscapes and built spaces.

As a result, Lumia's natural landscape has been incorporated through vertical gardens along the building’s facade, and by showcasing the rich materiality of the natural environment and surrounding views. Additionally, solar panels that span the size of 24 tennis courts will power the common areas, reducing the development’s reliance on the grid. This equates to enough energy to power 77,000 homes for a day, lowering the development’s carbon footprint.

Complimentary textures are incorporated through the use of stone, wood and glass. Subtle hints of metallic glamour and champagne hues are infused throughout the interiors. Floor-to-ceiling windows create a seamless transition between the outdoor and indoor environments.

The second colour palette is called ‘Ember’ and takes inspiration from water-glistened pebbles and the velvety dark greens of a tree canopy. This colour palette contrasts warm and cool tones to elicit a sophisticated, contemporary atmosphere with flawless flow throughout all the living areas.

The development also offers residents’ amenities, including a resort-style swimming pool, boardwalk and vertical gardens, a linear park and outdoor dining facilities. The array of amenities available to residents in Lumia Lux provides an enhanced and luxurious way of life.

As part of The Orchards by Sekisui House, Lumia Lux offers buyers and investors a chance to be part of a growing community committed to a lifestyle of convenience, luxury and connection to nature.
