Prestige property developer Spyre Group shows a major vote of confidence in the South East Queensland property market by appointing Brisbane-based Contrast Constructions to build its landmark New Farm development, Moray House.

“When looking for a partner who would put their knowledge and strong attention to detail into every aspect of the design, Contrast Constructions checked all of the boxes,” said Daniel Laruccia, Managing Director of Spyre Group.

“We needed a builder experienced in crafting exceptional, stand-alone residences so we could capture this in Moray House.

“Their experience in leading multi-residential developments, such as Azure's Eton Edition, further solidifies confidence and lends itself to the level of luxury planned for Moray House.”

Featuring six residences across seven storeys, Moray House has already broken the record for Brisbane’s most expensive apartment sale when its two-level penthouse sold for $15.75 million in January.

Set to form part of a flagship collection of elite residences, Spyre Group Director Andrew Malouf said this statement project would elevate the standard for luxury living in Brisbane.

“Contrast has mastered their interpretation on opulent builds in Brisbane and understand how to take design briefs beyond expectations,” Mr Malouf said. “They are the right fit to help Moray House make its mark.”

Ready to continue its legacy of luxury developments across Brisbane, Director Bradley Durkin said the builder is eager to raise the calibre of quality to new heights with Moray House.

“With luxury living, exceptional views, and a prime location, Moray House will set a new benchmark for inner-city living,” Mr Durkin said.

The design of Moray House is described as “akin to living in a tree house.” Each residence will feature rich finishes of Chambord stone, European oak herringbone flooring, and bespoke timber joinery. Reinforcing residents’ connection to the project’s idyllic surroundings, full-floor-length garden beds decorate the exterior.

Every touchpoint has been considered and elevated to the highest quality, ensuring a high-calibre lifestyle for the lucky few. From direct access to the Brisbane riverwalk to the chef-grade kitchens adorned with the finest WOLF appliances, these homes are exceptionally crafted.

Even windows are strategically placed to spare residents from sun glare and onlookers, granting complete freedom to enjoy their private sanctuaries.

“Features include a lap pool, wellness rooms, and personalised gyms,” said Mr Caulfield.

The residences are expected to sell for more than $10 million, with construction of the bespoke development expected to take approximately 18 months. Demolition is currently underway on site at 65 Moray Street, New Farm.
