With demand high for these diverse and limited residences on the water, act now to secure your forever home.

Stella Maris offers a diverse range of contemporary residences arranged artfully around the stunning, heritage-listed St Helens mansion. Built in 1848, St Helens was one of the earliest mansion houses in Geelong. Originally a private residence, the Sisters of Mercy acquired the property in 1923, named it Stella Maris, meaning Star of the Sea, and repurposed it as a convent and school.

MONNO engaged Rotheloman to reimagine the 1.25-hectare waterfront site with a collection of contemporary residential buildings pinwheeled around the heritage-listed St Helens mansion. In collaboration with reputable landscape architect Acre, Rothelowman’s masterplan also expertly incorporates various existing established trees, including the over 100-year-old Moreton Bay Fig and Lemon Scented Gum, creating a true landscaped oasis by the bay.

Carr Design is tasked with returning the mansion to its former glory as a single coastal residence paired with a contemporary rear addition with all the mod cons synonymous with uber-luxurious and modern living by the sea. The impressive home on a sprawling 3,000 sqm subdivided allotment will be the crown jewel of Stella Maris, with a very exclusive release slated for Q2 2023.

Stella Maris is a campus of four beautifully crafted buildings – Nautica House, The Arbory, Park Row, and The Acreage. Whilst each building exudes its own identity, there is a common language in quality and architectural sensibility in the consideration of siting, form, spatiality, functionality, light, materiality, and textures.

Nautica House features 14 generously sized contemporary residences of two, three and four-bedroom configurations. The epitome of waterfront living located right on the edge of Corio Bay to the east, the occupants will wake up to the glistening morning sun and enjoy expansive living spaces, generous garden terraces, and incredible natural light. With unencumbered views of the bay, it offers an ideal lifestyle like no other.

Residences at The Arbory boast views of Corio Bay, St Helens Park, and the Geelong city skyline. Three and four-bedroom generously sized homes are available at The Arbory, all merging indoor and outdoor living to take full advantage of the coastal and landscaped settings. With only eight residences in the building, it elevates the sense of exclusivity for this premium offering.

Park Row features just three three-level architecturally striking townhomes. Here, residents will experience unobstructed views of St Helens Park, Corio Bay, and the Geelong city skyline. With three bedrooms, dual living, a secured garage, a lift, and an extensive kitchen that doubles as a servery to a north-facing terrace, Park Row is luxury living at its best and will have a Bay Street address to boot.

The Acreage comprises a beautiful variety of one, two, and three-bedroom apartments, offering affordable entry into Stella Maris. Nestled in and amongst Acre’s highly considered landscaped setting, The Acreage embraces a connection to the outdoors and nature. Ground floor residences have access to generous private terraces, whilst select residences will enjoy outlooks of the bay.

At Stella Maris, the interiors are unapologetically timeless, highly considered, and provide a perfect canvas for the residents to personalise and express their style. It features a subtle, natural colour palette that allows the luxurious quality of the materiality to come to the fore.

The on-site amenities at Stella Maris are second to none. Fostering an environment where health and wellness are integrated into your every day, the wellness centre includes a gym with space for yoga and pilates. Following your workout, take a dip in the pristine 20-metre pool before ducking into the steam room for a recharge overlooking the infinity pool meticulously crafted by Acre. You can also find a dining space with an outdoor kitchen and barbecue, perfect for hosting gatherings with family and friends or just to hang out with your fellow Stella Marisians.

As the City of Geelong has one of the largest dog and cat populations of any Victorian municipality, a pet wash zone has been added to each of the on-site car wash zones to ensure your furry friends (along with your cars) are sparkling clean.

Stella Maris acknowledges that the delivery and collection of parcels are essential to modern-day living. Thus, contactless parcel lockers are included to maximise convenience whilst having security and building operations front of mind.

Stella Maris has been designed to exceed the minimum Built Environment Sustainability Scorecard (BESS) by an impressive 20%. Boasting an overall average NatHers energy rating of 6.0 stars for townhouses and 6.8 stars for apartments, Stella Maris’ commitment to sustainability is underpinned by its deliberate independence from fossil fuel-generated energy. The desire for excellence and innovation permeates all facets of its design, from the inclusion of photovoltaic (solar) panels and organic waste bins to electric vehicle charging infrastructure and the beautifully sculpted communal edible garden.

“We’re incredibly proud to bring Stella Maris to the market,” said Geno Hubay, Managing Director of MONNO. “It’s an exceptional coastal enclave that features striking design excellence and sets a new benchmark of luxury living that the Bellarine Peninsular has not seen before. It will be an iconic address, and will continue to be highly sought after in many years to come.”
