Limitless, a Brisbane-based developer, has unveiled plans for a brand new residential landmark in the heart of Brisbane’s burgeoning Hamilton Northshore neighbourhood.

Having just recently lodged a development application with Economic Development Queensland, who will work with Limitless to deliver this exciting new project, the $140 million apartment development will cater to downsizers, investors, and owner occupiers alike.

Named The Cullen Hamilton, in honour of Ernest Alexander Cullen, the visionary engineer whose work laid the foundations for Hamilton to become Brisbane’s prime port facility, the mixed-use tower will house 100 apartments across 23 levels. With architecture designed by award-winning Plus Architecture, The Cullen Hamilton is set to be a striking new addition to the Hamilton Northshore Urban Village.

Crowning the development will be the project’s exclusive collection of two penthouses and 28 sub-penthouses. The penthouses will comprise four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a multi-purpose room, while the sub-penthouses will offer three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a multi-purpose room.

Complete with private lift access as well as residents-only rooftop facilities that include a library, kitchen, and lounge, this luxurious collection offers premium penthouse living for owner occupiers.

The tower’s lower levels will be made up of an exquisite collection of apartment residences. The Cullen Hamilton’s selection of 20 homes comprising three-bedrooms and two-bathrooms are ideal for owner occupiers and investors alike, whilst investors may also enjoy the selection of 50 two-bedroom and two-bathroom dwellings.

The development also boasts 500 sqm of retail and commercial spaces, as well as 1,000 sqm of resident-only communal and recreational areas. Within this space will be a 20-metre swimming pool, barbecue facilities, al fresco dining spaces, day beds, a spa, an infrared sauna, a gymnasium, and pilates facilities.

To further the development’s quality lifestyle offering, the project has been specifically designed for sustainability through a large solar power installation on its rooftop, a double-skin facade to reduce thermal load, sweeping greenery throughout its exterior, and an EV charging station for residents.

The Cullen Hamilton is a reflection of Limitless’ standards merged with Limitless owner Nick Barr’s passion for creating residential spaces of utmost excellence.

“Since 2012, we’ve delivered over $150 million in a diverse portfolio of projects, building and developing homes, workspaces, and properties that aim to offer more than simply industry average,” Mr Barr says.

“Living in the immediate area of Hamilton, I’m very conscious and committed to creating a positive, sustainable, and liveable outcome that will enhance the secondary entrance to Portside and help contribute to the Olympic decade ahead.”

The Cullen Hamilton will be perfectly positioned in the very centre of the Hamilton Northshore Urban Village. In the midst of it all, residents will live in close proximity to all that the flourishing portside precinct has to offer.

With Hamilton Northshore designated as the Brisbane Athletes’ Village for the 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the location has seen a considerable acceleration in investment for growth, development, and infrastructure. Such progress and renewed planning places Brisbane’s Northshore precinct in the midst of what some are calling a residential renaissance.

With a bright future ahead for this new landmark building, The Cullen Hamilton maintains its rich waterfront history through its build. Cullen, the engineer whose name inspired this project, recommended timber for the construction of the wharf as the material would be quicker to build with and would last up to 30 years. In the end, his vision endured for almost a century. Now, The Cullen Hamilton will use this reclaimed wharf timber in its construction, adding a historic touch to what will be Northshore’s newest architectural icon.
