Commanding one of the best positions on the Brisbane River, Monarch Residences presents a luxurious collection of residences and penthouses in the heart of the sought-after waterfront precinct – home to the proposed new Toowong-to-West End Green Bridge and the contemporary restoration of the historic Middenbury House, planned to become a landmark riverfront restaurant and cafe.

Monarch Residences’ diverse offering has been attracting interest from a range of homebuyers seeking a variety of living options - but all unified in their desire to live in a new home in a prime location.

Downsizers, in particular, are attracted to Monarch Residences’ three and four-bedroom apartments, drawn to their spacious floor plans and high-end fixtures and fittings.

Moving from her home in Fig Tree Pocket, purchaser Carolyn Crane said she was excited by the stunning riverfront location and the proximity to city attractions and the South Bank Cultural Centre. Her new three-bedroom apartment faces south down to the St Lucia reach of the river and will look towards the Green Bridge going from Toowong to West End.

“The team behind Monarch Residences has gone the extra mile in planning and executing this prestigious development, which will provide such a luxurious lifestyle,” Carolyn said.

“The quality finishes, spacious proportions, and rooftop community facilities will make living here very enjoyable.

“Ultimately, it was the combination of living right on the river and within walking distance to shops, restaurants, library, and public transport that persuaded me to buy the apartment.

“If in future I’m unable to drive, everything will be right here on my doorstep.

“What’s even more exciting is that my friend of over 50 years is also moving to Monarch Residences.

“Good friends are so important, especially as you age, so being an elevator ride away from my dear friends will be very special.”

Carolyn’s friends Angela and Jim McLeod initially enquired about Monarch Residences through Apartments & Developments. It was Angela who referred Carolyn to Monarch Residences, and they are both thrilled to be living in the same building.

Planning to move from their family home, Angela and Jim purchased a three-bedroom residence facing north to the city and river. They had several significant reasons for purchasing in Monarch.

“Primarily, the wonderful location on the river had great appeal, as had the north-facing spacious apartment with beautiful views up the river to the city,” they explained.

“The unique position is so close to many amenities, the shops, the cafes, and the public transport and the lovely Heritage house that will be a restaurant next door.

“The developers and their team have designed a beautiful apartment that is both luxurious, practical, and comfortable.

“We loved the rooftop development with the infinity pool and facilities for entertaining family and friends.

“We are delighted that our dear friend Carolyn has purchased a unit in Monarch, too.

“The green bridge taking us across the river to walk in Orleigh Park will be a great asset.”

Monarch Residences’ considered design extends outside its residences’ walls to the rooftop, where world-class amenities maximise this exclusive riverfront lifestyle. A heated infinity pool, well-equipped gymnasium, ‘Winter Den,’ spa, and sauna cater to residents’ health and wellness. At the same time, numerous BBQ private seating areas and private dining rooms equipped with luxurious kitchens encourage community.

For those working from home, a relaxed lounge and work-from-home space provide a tranquil environment for residents to focus on the task at hand. A world-class transport network is on the building’s doorstep for those commuting to work, with the Regatta Ferry Terminal, Bicentennial Bikeway, and Toowong Train Station all close by.

A limited number of three and four residences are still available at Monarch Residences. Now under construction, this coveted riverfront address can be yours very soon.
