The 2020 Sustainability Awards – presented by Architecture & Design Magazine – shortlist has been announced.
"Our finalists for the year proved that our judges truly had their work cut out for them in selecting just one winner per category. There’s no denying that the architecture and design industry is still bursting with new, innovative talent, setting the bar high for the coming year," said the Sustainability Awards team.
Set to take place on Thursday 12th November, the Sustainability Awards celebrate the very best of sustainable Australian design and architecture.

Lifetime Achievement
'A person who has over their career, shown exemplary efforts in advancing the progression of the sustainable built environment in Australia.'
Adrian Light - ONE20 Architects
Professor Sandra Kaji-O’Grady - University of Queensland
Tone Wheeler - Environa Studio
Emerging Architect / Designer
'This Award is for a registered architect and/or firm that has demonstrated a measurable contribution to the profession of architecture.'
Kaylie Salvatori - Arcadia Landscape Architecture
Talina Edwards- Talina Edwards Architecture
The awards also acknowledge projects across commercial, residential and landscaping that showcase excellence in sustainability – and projects and teams that have demonstrated amazing innovation.
