Before securing your new home at Edithvale Place how long had you been looking?

We wanted to 'right-size' our next home once our large family of seven kids had set-up their lives and were thriving.

Edithvale has been home for 20+ years, but we have actively been researching real estate in 3196 with a plan to sell our too big, but beautiful house.

Had you seen any of ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects or Metro's work before?

No, but we didn't want one of those flat pack, lego-style, brick homes that are popping up everywhere.

Russ, a retired master builder is very specific with standards, structures and quality.

Why did you decide to choose Edithvale Place?

Everything about it ticked the boxes for both Russ and I.

We can relocate a very short distance, we love our Edithvale community.

I teach locally, we can walk our dog Sunny to the beach and enjoy our boat shed.

Buying off the plan allows us to sell our family home in a time-frame without stress and urgency.

What attracted you to Edithvale?

Childhood memories of driving down to Edithvale in the back of the car fully loaded with cricket bats, kick boards, towels, Eskies, sandwiches, cordial, and whatever mum could cram in.

The smell of the beach was exciting.

Home in a hot car, wet, exhausted, sunburnt but so happy!

It is one of the best beaches!

What is your favourite design element in your new home in Edithvale Place?

The considered layouts, and the emphasis on light and space.

The design of Edithvale Place very much has a beachy, resort feeling.

We feel relaxed, confident and excited about our new home.

How have you found the process of buying off the plan?

I booked the site visit, then convinced Russ to come too!

Ranko was a delight to work with as he listened to our expectations, and has the knowledge and expertise to let us make decisions.

With so many options, we narrowed it down to three, and decided that night!

All documentation was prepared, easy to access, changes could be made and Russ's hard questions answered.
